i had been to beauty base stores at treaty centre at hounslow this after noon I had purchased 4 bottles of BRUT Musk from the store which cost £ 4.99 each which is £ 19.96 for 4 piece I was in a hurry I did my payment with my credit card and after I reached home I just went through my bill I found out that I had been charged for a colour lip liner of £ 1.15 which I had not purchased but had been charged from me  will the concerned authority look into the matter how the customers are been charged for the product that they haven't purchased.

I bought from this company stores before and never had a complain as when walk in i know what i am looking for. But decided to buy online as there was a 10% discount and free delivery over £35. As the 10% did not apply i wrote an email to customer service stating clearly that if the discount did not apply and i did not have free delivery, then i was not interested. Customer services does not open durng the weekend and the promotion was only valid for the weekend. I then receive a phone call on Monday telling me that it was either one or the other, so i said i would rather not purchase the items on this occasion as it was not the best deal. After 10 minutes the customer services representative called me back to say that on this occasion they would allow the deal, even though it was only available during the weekend and as a gesture of goodwill will add a fragrance for £3.99. Trusting that everything had been cleared i realised upon checking my bank account that the 10% of my purchase was not refunded as agreed and when spoke to customer services they said that there were no written notes or email confirming the agreement. Conclusion DO NOT AGREE ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE WITH THIS PEOPLE. THEY ARE BAD AND FOR THAT REASON DO NOT HAVE REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE. You can find better deals with genuine products elsewhere. I do now question the genuinity of their products that i was unable to test as it was a gift for dear people.

Went to do my nailson at the Acton location. Very expensive and messy service. Friendly staff but no skills regarding nails at all. Very disappounted.

staff too focused on saleing and would not let you shop peacefully not sure on why the perfumes are soooo cheap i would rather go somewhere more known

Staff are rude and fight over the comission of perfumes in front of customers rather go debenhams as its more well known seems a bit dodgy

I attended one of my local nearest Beauty Base store in Westfield Ariel way today I normally never notice a customer service representative present but the stock sells itself. I walked in the store with a one shopping bag from Topshop and my own handbag, after choosing my usual 212 Sexy by Carolina Herrera (Beauty Base sell this item 2.00 cheaper than most other stores), I carried on browsing the aisles for further items. The security guard approached me and asked if I wanted to leave my bag with him after approx 5 minutes of me being in the store. I found this mostly offensive as it appeared as if I could not be trusted to shop as a regular consumer. This has never happened to me in my entire life of shopping. I now will make extra effort to buy from another store. I would hope if this is company policy that this is explained as you first enter the store as opposed to 5 minutes after. I make a good salary and have done well for myself in society so as a young black woman this type of approach felt slightly sinister.

very cooprative staff good value for money would buy from Beauty Base again and again

I had a wonderful experience buying at Beauty Base. Staff was very cooperative and informative. Only problem I found in shop was unprofessional stacking and lack of lights.

I once had to wait for 5 weeks - they were ordering specially for me, but they did not charge my card until they got the stock, and would keep in touch regularly. After all in the end, not in every other place would staff go such a big extra mile for me, the fragrance was really hard to get. I appreciated the attitude and would definitely recommend it.

Beauty Base - I put in an order and was soon emailed by customer service, who asked for me to fax them a copy of my latest "gas or electricity bill" as my credit card address couldn't be confirmed. Very rarely I will have to email online stores a scan of my address (usually from the top of my bank statement) and I did the same in this case. Not long after the same rep emailed me back asking for the ENTIRE page to be faxed or emailed to them. Apparently the address and the bank logo wasn't good enough. I certainly wasn't about to send out my bank statement information and I told the rep that if that wasn't sufficient they could cancel my order. And sure enough, they did.
