My 180cc Italjet Dragster 180 Was The Fastest Acce
My 180cc Italjet Dragster 180 was the fastest accelerating bike that I've ever owned and would start first time every time even when red hot. The looks were something special but unfortunately I sold it as I couldn't source important parts to repair it. Italjet that make the dragster have been bust for some time and the only way to get parts is second hand from auction sites on the net or from the odd bike breaker who may just have a dragster lurking in his scrapheap. If the dragster 180cc two stroke was sold new I would sell my present bike and buy one in a flash.

The Italjet Dragster 180 is the best ever scooter I have owned it has all the power that you will ever need, and want its a proper beast you cannot mess around with the Italjet 180, even though it is a safer than its collegue the deadly 'Gilera Runner 180' it is a lot faster the only bad part about this bike is its littlist brother the 50cc Dragster it has the same beast looks as the 180 but!, it does not compare in the slightest, so it gives it a bit of a bad name.
But still I think it is Brilliant! and the best thing about it is if you want to fool the 16 year olds on there 50cc 30mph slopeds, you can get an accessory which covers up the pelican passanger, so you can have a race and they think it shall be evenly matched but when you pull off in 4.8 seconds! you are going double there maximum speed that will show those little whipper snappers.
But now I shall be serious for a moment if you want to race a Porsche 911 for fun to the next set of traffic lights get the Italjet Dragster 180.
The Best thing about it is that it is a 2 Stroke.
I have recently bought a dragster 180 with 800km on the clock I don't understand why everyone seems to think that they are so fast. They are fairly quick for what they are but they have no power and don't really accelerate that fast, don't get me wrong I like it and its fun to ride but after 24 years of riding Lambrettas and for the last good few years tuned ones the dragster in its standard form is very tame and a bit lacking in the engine department so i can only summise that the people who rave about dragsters haven't really driven much else. I am currently looking at a few ways to enhance the performance of my dragster but have been getting conflicting views/opinions from the dragster owners I have met so am undecided as the right way to proceed so if anyone who covers a lot of miles per year on a tuned dragster can give me a bit of sensible advice i would gratefully accept it.
Yeah, you sure do have to watch out for those 'Pelican Passengers'....uhuh.
