No Customer Service Not Welcome

Walked into the Trafford Centre Coast, now I have worked in retail and cardinal rule number one you acknowledge the customer!

There was not anybody else in the shop but me. The girl behind the till was busy messing around with the till doing what looked like to be paper work, which should be done in the office. There was a girl on the fitting room, when no one was in there she did not ask if I needed help with anything when I did, but did not feel welcome so walked back out the shop.

Poor customer service needs to be dramatically improved.

Beautiful Skirt Fast Delivery.

I order the beautiful coast pink layered skirt. I live in the u.s it did take six days to dispatch amd about a week to get here. It arrived earlier than tracking said. It is beautiful well made and I am very happy. I will order more from them.

Worst Customer Service And Ordering System By Far

I have tried to purchase a few things from Coast, the first order they cancelled without informing me. I contacted them and was prompt to make the order again, they gave me a few directions - such as "remember to put in the correct address" - like i don't know what address my credit card is registered on. I spoke to the bank just in case, and the bank confirmed they had approved the transaction. I have tried to make the order again twice after this and they keep on cancelling the order, without providing notice of it. On top of this they will hold your money for about a week before releasing it and making you wait another 3-5 days. They are far below average with regards to customer service and it is not positive that they will send your order at all.The company keeps on applogizing, however, that doesn't do much good when they keep messing up and showing their incapability to perform.

Ordering Process Appalling

I'd like to comments on the ordering and overall online shopping with Coast-store.Be aware,if you place an order and get confirmation, it doesn't mean that you will get it or get any notification that order is cancelled. Also there is a cap for first order, even the fact that customer services denying this. I placed an order for the large value for the simple reason that i am size 6 and most item I want it to try are not available in the store.I got confirmation but never received the order neither notification that order was cancelled for security reason as my card is not register in the same country as delivery. I did try to place order with my husband card( delivery and card reg the same country) but even after entering 3d security pass for my card I got notification that details does not matched, however my husband card was charged.If details are not correct you will never get to the point of getting confirmation from the bank.which means they highlighted my email and stopped any orders. I changed the email address and placed order again and got exact the same and my husband card was charged again.After all I created account placed two small orders(one on thursday for tuesday delivery and one on friday for monday delivery)and it was ok. Order for monday shipped but the one placed to be delivery on tuesday not processed yet, even the fact it placed before one for Monday .Customer service can't explain why or tell me if it will be process at all. What i got ''sorry''and you will get this every time when you contact them.

i am genuine customer and I understand that company takes all measure to protect themselves. Coast has third company who runs security checks as i was explained and if they are not happy with your details order is just cancelled without any notice. I was also told by customer service manager that delivery address has to be the same as billing address and the the reason for my previous rejections which is nonsense as a lot of other things that i was told.

If they are that overprotective they should incorporate all their rules into ordering process and informed customers at the point of order and not just let customers waiting for days to find out that order is cancelled without in reality any particular reasons.

Dreadful

Absolutely dreadful!! Don't order from them. Took my money and I still haven't received dresses. You email and they don't reply and there is no contact number to speak to someone> I have never ever known such a dreadful company. Absolutely disgusting.......I warn everyone not to use them!!!! I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered!!!!!

If I Could Be Zero Stars I Would

Let me start out by saying that this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life from a dress shop. I am a business owner and have been running our family business which has been around for over 50 years. The philosophy we have survived on is that CUSTOMERS makes your paydays possible. Apparently this is NOT the philosophy at COAST. At COAST the customer is a liability. Bad philosophy my friends, BAD!

I ordered some dresses this month for a friend's wedding in London which is March 4, 2016. However, I needed to cancel the order 12 hours later due to some unforeseeable problems with sizing, timing and logistics. My friend in London suggested I place the order and have it shipped to her instead which would also avoid all the costly fees of shipping & taxes internationally. Unfortunately, when I tried to cancel the order, they told me I could not do that, it's against their policy. I asked again since I live in the US, but I will be in London in just a few weeks and can get the goods there or have them shipped to my friend quicker. Again I was told NO. They said there were "security issues". That makes no sense to me. I asked if they could call me (or I call them) to establish any "security issues". Again I was rebuffed and told NO. I asked my friend to call in London but she couldn't find a number anywhere for them. Again BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. However, she did have an online CHAT and again was told no changes/no cancellations. This makes no sense to me and NO WHERE in plain site was I advised that orders are NON-CANCELLABLE. This is unheard of in this part of the World.

Needless to say I WILL NEVER shop at COAST EVER. The dresses will be going back un-opened. Of course I will have to pay through the nose for the courtesy. But, trust me ALL OF MY FRIENDS in London will know about this experience and anyone else I can tell will know too. Please stay away for your own good. Instead head over to LK Bennett, Hobbs, PHASE 8 or Jigsaw. Better customer service is worth more than anything COAST has to offer in my opinion. These people are terrible to deal with and even harder to get a hold of.

Oh and by the way, I have also advised my credit card to put them on my blocked list just incase they want to pull any funny business. I do not trust these people AT ALL.

Terrible Customer Ervice

I wrote to Coast on June 27th with a complaint about an item I had purchased and had ruined by following their washing instructions.

They promised to reply within 48 hours.Ten days later I am still waiting. Even after 3 extra emails reminding them of their 48 hour promise.

I doubt they will reply and even if they do I don't suppose my dress will be refunded or replaced as I don't have the receipt.You pay a fortune for a special item for a special occasion and you expect to be able to wear it more than once. I warn people now to have your items dry cleaned even if the label says you can hand wash it. My dress was ruined by following the label instructions.

Worst Customer Service Ever!

I have never written a bad review before but after the awful experience I have had I feel the urge to warn others. After ordering five dresses online for a wedding, only three have arrived. The company have marked that all five have been delivered and so I am now having to prove this is not the case by going back through all of the emails. You cannot speak to anyone directly and they take a long time to reply on email. If you ask for someone to phone you, you are ignored. I am not sure if I will see any refund at this point and I am very disappointed in such a big brand name. I wish anyone luck when ordering from the website.

Worst Company Ever

Was very late buying an outfit for a wedding due to a broken ankle in plaster and having to change what I wore last minute to accommodate the swollen leg and being on Crutches. A family member drove me 80 miles round trip to the Coast Store in Southampton but they did not have the correct size in a Dress and Jacket. They told me to order online for next day delivery. I went home placed the order, both were showing in stock. Total cost £250 of and paid for next day delivery.

The goods did not arrive next day but had a text from the Courier to say it would be the following day. Nothing arrived. Sent email to customer service which took them 4 days to reply. Apparently they were out of stock of the items despite it saying they were in stock on the website and being charged for next day delivery. I emailed back to say cancel the order becuase by now I had to go out the following day to buy something else as the Wedding was now two days away. The order was not cancelled and they dispatched the goods 2 weeks later. It arrived with no paperwork apparently the computer was broken! I then emailed customer services 4 times to try and get some paperwork for returning the goods. Eventually after many emails they finally issued the paperwork but forgot to attach it to the email. So another few days of emails continued. Finally I sent the goods back to Coast using the Click and Collect. This was 7 weeks ago and still no refund. So now back to emailing Customer Service as they are not contactable by phone. To date this has been over 11 weeks since the day I placed the order.

This is the worst Company I have ever dealt with and I will never buy from them again.

Bad Service

I ordered a dress from coast site and paid 135 pound plus 4.99 garanteed delivery my dress should of been delivered thur 17 july but no dress turned up after trying to track dress and emailing coast no reply came from either the phone number you ring is a recorded message i think that this is disgusting and should not be allowed a company this big should have someone to deal with these problems i will never buy another item from this company and would worn anyone not to buy there products on line as there is no costumer service at all i needed the dress for a wedding so i have got to get something else quick if the dress arrives it will be returned te same day with a letter enclosed asking for a refund including my 4.99 del charge
