Hpj Con Customer After Nearly 12months Of Being Mucked About
I was disgusted at the way I was treated throughout my visits back and forth to the shop. I work hard for everything I have & am absolutely astounded that these companies are allowed to get away with conning people out of money. It's a disgrace!

High Street Robbers!
No wonder the chain is closing down, I bought a watch for Xmas in their sale...It is broken and I cant take it back as it is now closed. If you see any of their stores closing down, walk away, its better to pay more as their deals really are to good to be true. Their staff must have been aware of what they where doing-merry xmas hope they get honest references when applying for jobs, how in this day and age they can sleep at night.

Just to let you know I went in there today and went to buy some earings.
when the guy told me how much they were they cost £4 more than the ticket price. he said the price I looked at was for the necklace that went with it . It was not he changed the price for another pair of earings from another shelf I saw him do it, When i said this he said no this is the price, Total rip of and for £4 they lost a few sales as I will tell anyone looking in there what Happened to me ,

Purchased the above on 24 July 2011 and it was beautiful but only wore it for special occasions - now broken and not sortable. I am in my late 70s and this was a present from family and now have nothing. I contacted staff at Paisley who were very nice but as it is over 1 year old said they could do nothing. Would not purchase from them again.

Please be warned what a bunch of nasty cowboys these people are. Purchased a chain, supposedly 18" long, which turned out to faulty and the clasp pinged out after just 4 months - had taken out the jewellery insurance they suggested.
If going through the insurance claim it will take at least a month at my own expense. Product was faulty anyway so not an insurance issue. Shop refuse to listen, get abusive, and it turns out that the chain is in fact 19" long so not only not fit for purpose but also not as described.
Not interested in statutory rights only interested in blaming me - how on earth does a chain break accidently???????? I wear it around my neck, i dont use it to swing from!!!!!!

I Am Disgusted With This Jewellery Shop. My Daught
I am disgusted with this jewellery shop. My daughter purchased a silver curb chain bracelet for her boyfriend on Saturday, noticed it was faulty when she got it home so took it back to the shop the following day, only to be told by the assistant that she would need to take it back when the manager was on duty.
She took it back when the manager was in who refused to accept the chain back as apparantly she had damaged it. This chain had never even been tried on let alone worn and damaged by her or anyone else.
The manager told her to write to head office enclosing the bracelet. By doing this, she will have to purchase protective packaging and pay special delivery to ensure its safe delivery. This will result in an added expense to her and a present that her boyfriend has not yet received.
I intend to write to head office but just wanted you all to know just how poor the after service of this shop is.

I Have Shopped In A Number Of Hpj's And I Was Shoc
I have shopped in a number of HPJ's and I was shocked at the evident fluctuation of standards, experience and ability of staff. I recently went to the grays store and was blown away by the extremely pleasant, knowledgeable staff who were friendly, approachable and eager to assist in my purchase. The assistant was not just seeing me as a walking purse she showed genuine interest as to why I was looking for a gift and that it was my choice. I did not feel pressured into a sale but gently guided to buy the right piece that was perfect for the occasion that I was shopping for. With her amiable manner she made me feel comfortable and allowed me time to browse and also view, compare and handle my many choices. I could not recommend this store enough, the service is very much customer service, and of a high calibre. 10 out of 10
