I Bought This Canon I950 Printer Because Of The Go
I bought this Canon i950 printer because of the good reviews on it's photo printing capability and also it doesn't have chipped cartridges like Epsons. The quality is very good on photo prints and very quick, however I note that there is always some tweaking to be done on it's colours and density often, very fussy over what paper it prints on too which sometimes is a nuisance,Canon's own paper is of course it's optimum print media but at a price,I've had Epsons over the past six years and still think they take some beating and not so critical over the paper put into them but the chipped cartridge is a pest if you fill them yourself, the i950 is a dream if you wish to refill it's clear plastic cartridges that possess no chips and they hold approx 15ml ink, photo cyan and photo magenta are the first to go down, changing them is a breeze.setting up the printer is also easy and went with no hitches, inks seem to last quite well. I've had this printer working hard now for the past eight weeks and am very pleased with it's results...I still like Epsons but not their chipped cartridge idea no matter how brilliant they tell us they are..but that's just my opinion
