I have been trying to contact Spamjab about a refund of my subscription for a few weeks now with no success. Cannot get on to website and my emails are being bounced. Have they ceased operating?

I have not been able to get the website for www.spamjab.com to load. I can't even get access to any of my emails. What is going on??? Please can anyone help?

I have sent e mails to contact spamjab also tried to phone but the line is dead. I want to cancel my account but no one there to contact. what a bad system

I've used Spamjab for many years and found them to be excellent at actually stopping Spam. I didn't mind when they started charging for the service because I thought it was worth it.

When there were occasional issues in the early days the contact number worked and their support was OK. However, last year they promised to phone me back when I had a problem but never did. Fortunately that problem solved itself but nevertheless that incident was a warning that all is not well with them.

In the last few weeks I stopped receiving emails on my Outlook account which reaches me via Spamjab. I attempted to speak to Spamjab but their contact number is unobtainable. I have sent them 4 emails but they have not responded at all. It is therefore impossible for me to contact them, which is highly unsatisfactory when they are effectively in control of my email account.

My annual fee was recently renewed via Paypal. In desperation I have now cancelled this payment by raising a Paypal dispute in an attempt to get Spamjab's attention. However, even that has failed to do so.

I now want Spamjab to remove me from their system so that I can receive emails normally but this is not simple and requires their co-operation. Unless I can speak to them my only option is to abandon my email address which is a very drastic step.

Is anyone else having the same problem? If so, have you found a way round it?

I have been a Spamjab user for several years and have always found them to be efficient and customer-oriented. This year, however, I was advised in October/November that the service would be down for two hours due to a server maintenance issue. After received no emails for 2 days I telephoned to see what the problem was and was told off-handedly that they would be back on line "soon". I sent them an email to cancel my subscription on renewal at the beginning of Dec 2010. Neverthetless, I got a renewal notice and then had a change of heart and paid up via PayPal sending Spamjab an email apologising for the about turn. My payment went through and then I received an advisory from Support@Spamjab telling me that the service was stopped. After several emails and telephone calls, a week later it still had not been restored and no answers to my emails were ever received. Indeed the phone calls always seemed to be answered by some guy called Mike who always seemed surprised to have been called. Pretty academic as he never seemed to do anything about the calls. Now I am in a PayPal dispute trying to get my £25 back. Don't know what has happened but they seem to be in terminal decline.

Do not use this service, all your emails are read by actual people, there is no magic algorithm. Just change for a gmail.com account and you won't see any spam.

Spam Jab works well if if you only have a small problem but, of late do not expect any support or replies to e-mail It WAS good but something has deteriorated since about mid 2007 in my opinion.

Its free for personnel usage, works admirably well in preventing junk emails from gaining access.

So easy to set up and use. Instructions are good. Keep up the good work, Spam Jab.

The finest anti-spam software I've ever seen or used. One small problem caused by my ISP but SpamJab cleared the problem immediately.
