I bought my sister a private plate for her 30th birthday. I compared sites and premier-plates were the best price. I emailed them after I purchased the plate for further Information and they got back to me in less than 24 hours and were very quick to respond throughout. The plates arrived 2 days later and were officially transferred in just 1 week. The bad reviews left by others concerned me but after purchasing elsewhere in the past i can say these were by far the best. Highly recommended by me. Thank you i know where to come when i want a new one.

I was looking for a number plate with the format letter, 2 digits, 3 letters (my initials.) Naturally, there were PLENTY of options on the site, so i chose my preferred option (around £300 all-in as I was only looking for a cheap option to de-age my car) and was successful in "securing" the plate.

8 weeks passed, however I was told on several occasions not to worry as they had received my log book and the process normally takes 6-8 weeks for the transfer to complete.

By week 9, they could no longer use their generic excuse, and when I pushed hard to find out where "MY" number plate was, I was informed (apparently by the MD of the company directly, although probably just one of his assistants) that there had been an error and the 3rd party was no longer able to offer me the plate. Brilliant. Thanks for making me wait 9 weeks to establish this!

So I ask them for an alternative, which they would "look into." But no response. So I push back and suggest a few alternative number plates which were maybe £100 more than the original I had chosen, but that I would have been more than happy with.

Let's just clarify - there were probably 30+ different plates on their website that I may have been happy with at a similar price when I suggested the alternatives. But the following week when they finally responded, I was told that NONE of the alternatives I suggested were available either, and somehow ALL of the 30+ alternatives that were advertised on their webiste literally 3 days ago had subsequently been removed from the site!

The only 2 options that were a similar format happened to be £600+. Funny that.

So basically, they take your money to improve their cash flow, and keep you waiting 6-8 weeks before they are willing to inform you that the plate you had "secured" is in fact unavailable. And no similar options available at the same price, but they are happy to take more money off you for a more expensive plate.

I feel that I have been completely sucked in by a company that has zero sympathy or their customers, and no intention of offering any kind of compensation if they mess up at their end, because somewhere in the small print they have covered their backs for any mistake that they are likely to make over and over again.

I will never use this company again and encourage you all to steer clear. There are a number of other websites out there that offer the same plates at the same prices. The only difference is that Premier Plates do not update their website and subsequently fool you into parting with your hard-earned cash for something that was never available in the first place.

Thankfully this plate was for myself and not a gift for a relatives birthday or Christmas etc.

We bought a private registration from Premier Plates and we had fabulous service from them. They were very responsive to our questions and we felt we were being given their attention during the process from start to finish. Our number plates were excellent value and we would definitely recommend.

This transaction took just over a month which is very reasonable. The email response to queries from Premier was same day. I have checked with DVLA that my motorcycle is now taxed under the new reg. I am a happy client and would recommend that people email rather than phone for a quick response. Thanks again.

Bought our plates from Premier as a surprise for our daughter and we were looked after from start to finish. Really nice people to deal with and kept us in the loop all of the time. We can't believe how easy it all was and how they managed to time everything to keep it a surprise for our daughter. We would definitely recommend.
