DO NOT USE!! She heads up the permanent recruitment team - I have watched her bully, patronise and generally upset most of the people she comes into contact with. In essence her main function is to tell everyone how brilliant she is when the systems she uses is writing on paper (make sure you use red pen - its how she determines if you are a good recruiter)and to put on hand cream. I liked nothing about being there as was one of the most unhappy times of my life totally caused by her. The dole would be better than using her as would a needle in the eye. Not one of my team I worked with remain as she bullied everyone out - she does about 3 minutes work every day and the rest of the time she focuses on upsetting everyone else - I would NEVER use them or her in any capacity and as a now CEO of a business I fail how to see she is still employed anywhere especially at her over-inflated salary

I've signed up with SOS Recruitment twice now, the first time was over a year ago. I visited their office, filled in the massive amount of paperwork and was told I would be put forward for a role.

I heard nothing for about a week, so I inquired with them and was informed that they were waiting on more information from me, which I had already sent to them. They then proceeded to lie and tell me they never got the email. A day or so later I got a job through another recruiter, so I didn't follow up with SOS any further.

I recently visited SOS Recruitment again and shouldn't have bothered. Firstly, the job you apply for probably isn't available anymore but they keep advertising it anyway.

Secondly, despite my details having barely changed, they insisted I complete all of their forms again. The forms are long (30 mins), hand written and ask for all the information you provide on your CV anyway.

Thirdly, after completing the forms, I was ignored for several minutes and kept waiting (it's worth pointing out that I was asked to visit them at a specific time).

Fourthly, after more waiting, I was asked to complete a computer competency test, involving data entry, Excel and Word. The Excel test is appalling, clicking anywhere or doing anything outside of the very specific thing being asked ends the question. There is a reset option, but I think this affects your score.

After waiting, filling in forms and tests I gave up. I'd been there nearly two hours. So much for the 'appointment'.

It seems that SOS Recruitment are not interested in a particular individual's skill-set and would rather have the numbers on their system. A few jobs suggested to me (a year ago) were either irrelevant or were seemingly forced upon me.

Additionally, I think a lot of the handwritten paperwork could be easily automated. It would be simpler for people to complete the forms online and from home, instead of having them sit in the reception area.

I will not being using them in future.

Apart from lying they put up fault adverts and then ask for your details so they can put you forward for a job. Its a ploy, they do nothing but have your details.

Stay away from them.

I am amazed they are still in business and it seems no-one works there. All these folk to speak to but when you do call they are not there. Who are these folk?

Well applying for a job, pretty straight forward. Although they do promote illiteracy within the workplace starting from the "Director". How can I get a job when they can't even be bothered to read any correspondence. All I got was a crappy "form" to fill out. Once that was completed it was silence. I have got a feeling that all they are doing is collecting details on people and the jobs they promote don't exist. I make more headway with a double glazing salesman.

They used to be a big firm but it most probably be shrinking down due to the incompetence of the management team.

have registered with them and couple of days later had a missed call from their nr - no voicemail was left. Called back in an hour ans was told that the person who contacted me was on lunch and will get back to me asap.And guess what, three days later still no callback. Have sent an email - no reply. Don't waste your time

Had an interview on the Monday I was told I had the job on the Wednesday, sent in all required information and kept in contact with agent's.

I called on the Saturday to be told that they've closed the application down due to not contacting them. When I called to find out what they meant by not contacting them being I spoke to them on on the Thursday to get an apology and that no one in there team had informed her. This meant I didn't get the job. Very unhappy with sos recruitment Bournemouth

They put the advices in the windows, but when you ask them about, they told you that those advices are closed...

Of course, but they keep fake advises for months and months!

DON' T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Found jobs forced upon me, aggressive approach, unprofessional, girls looking me up and down,was a couple of friendly ones,administration when securing a role not efficient.

Seem to be a well known name but need to provide better customer service and candidate experience.

They are not even worth 1 star! Worst recruiter ever! Do not associate with them at all.

They are great at first, and after the interview, well, well, they are suddenly still waiting on clients to give them feedback, and the rest of the gibberish!!

Complete time wasters!
