Storyteller, Cheltenham

I have eaten at the Storyteller a few times and the food has been good each time. The service has always been very good and the staff are friendly.

The only issue we have had is that the food is served very quickly and you seem to be at coffee's after a very short time. Also sometimes the seating can be either in a drafty positio or a noisy one.

All in all though a good place to eat.

Fantastic food and slightly unusual adventurous dishes! Well cooked and tasty. Nice selection of desserts. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices Generally buzzing atmosphere...a sort of up market TGIFs with off the wall dishes. Spinach Dumplings, Ostrich, Rabbit, Mango and Guava etc can be seen on the fairly frequently changing menu. Always had a good meal here. Its reasonably priced but you can easily get carried away and spend quite a bit, if you go for all courses and some vino. Still, very nice all round and highly recommended. Bit of a cramped arrangement. we are pretty chatty so struck up a conversation with an ajoining table, but some people may not like this. Also, some of the larger tables are joined together, which means sometimes you can be sitting either side of a table leg.
