Malia, Crete, Greece

Malia is the best holiday i have EVER been on!!! i went at the end of aughust with 14 other of my friends. it was our first girls holiday and will deffinitly not be the last. Everything about it was so good that im considering going back as a rep next year. if you ever get the chance to

go-GO!

Appartments: Zoo Oddysee Appartments:

They were about 5 minuits away from the strip through a short cut and this took you right into the centre of the night life. The place was alright, but to be honest we hardly spent any time in our appartments. The pool was quite good, and everyone there was really nice. you all got on and the hotel ended up feeling like a little family. The security guard George was really nice, but be nice to the security guards cause they'v all got taisers and batons, and they all use them!!! Our Rep's Craig and Shiv were amazing they were so funny, had a laugh with you and told you all the best places to go.

Nightlife: Really Good, the best places to end up were Bannanas, Appollo and Candy. These were the big clubs. They all had poles and bars to dance on and some would light the bar on fire. But we always went to pubs before hand which were really good too. All the PR's out there offer you things like 2 drinks, 3 shots and a free fishbowl for 5 euro each. places like Appollo offered you 2 drinks for 5. When we where over there skepta was playing in candy club. they were really good and got really involved with the crowed. they cost 20 to get in and see but if you were in a big group they let you in for free. Also the inbetweeners were filming there new film when we were there, we got a picture with them and then watched them filming a shot walking down the strip. If your going soon Akon's meant to be appearing in a club sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Food + Drink: Food was cheap, theres a 24 hour KFC and mc Donalds. If you ever stay near the oddyseyy then youl get to know a place called the pit stop. does the best pizza's chips and bagettes. pizzas are about 6 euro each. But if your planning to drink before you go out, then dont expect to drink spirits all the time because they cost about 18 euro for a litre bottle. smirnoff ices were 1-70 from a little shop, but cafe's charged about 4 euro. In clubs Mixers are bout 2 euro each but it depends what deal people will give you, useually if theres more of you you get a better deal. Bottles are more expensive in clubs, about 4 euro.

Booze cruise: Really good, does what it says. you just get wasted on a boat , play a load of drinking games- these get abit messy!! Not for the faint hearted cause if you do rubbish at the games the reps willl rip you.

Silent Disco: i dint go on this but some of my mates did. it doesnt sound to good but apparantly it was one of the best nights of there holiday. your in a club with head phones on but theres no music playing. if i were to do it again i would have sighned up for this it looked like a really good night.

Before going we all read all the comments about malia, some put us off going, but this ended up being the best holiday of my life and i still want to go back. so dont let any off the comments sway you from going make your mimnd up when you get there. One bad point was that people rented out bikes and quads which were accutually a death trap. me and my mate went on the back of one with another guy driving, hit a car, fell off and skidded into some stairs of a pub. we were alright luckily, but the guy driving went home with a broken arm and a £1000 fine. he ended up havin to pay for the quad, car, and theres no NHS out there so his arm aswell. Everyone will reccommend you NOT to rent a quad!!!

Beautiful place, wonderful people, scenery is awesome...

Bars are excellent, loads of cheap drinks....nightlife 5stars!!

Only bar i would not recommend is DownTown Bar, not so good! Very rude owner, Kept screaming in the background....raised hes hands to one of hes british workers in front of us....glasses wernt clean, dead roaches outside,

apart from that experience, Malia is the best location ive ever been to yet!!

Absolutely love Malia, Crete in Greece! Would definitely go back there - if you love dancing, drinking and sunshine this is definitely the place for you!!!

I went to Malia in June it was best holiday I have been on All the reps were wicked and the excursions made the holiday. I loved everything about the holiday except our apartment. Quite a few rooms got broken into while we was there, overall though Malia is the place too be.

This is a place that is full of young adults who are looking for a good time! Not suitable for teenagers under age. You would be mad to go in July. Really nice weather is about all I can say - never going back during the busy season.

Good holiday definitely go back to that place

What a brilliant time I had at the Minstrel Hotel in Malia!! Malia is definitely more for the younger ages who want to go out clubbing and drinking until the early hours of the morning, but a bit of advice - the clubs don't kick off until about 12 ish, so don't do what we did and go out early!!

We had a brilliant time!! I am now suffering from the holiday blues!!

If you are a lad and you want to go to Malia in Greece to get drunk every night, then you are fine, but be careful what you say to girls because you WON'T pull by giving them abuse!!

If girls want to get out of Malia due to wanting to go somewhere a bit quieter, where they won't get abused, then go into Stalis or Hassonisos. These places have some nice bars and restaurants, and there are nice places to go.

We are a group of girls aged between 19 - 25, and we will not be going back to this resort. We should have been enjoying our holiday, but as you can see, we didn't!

My holiday to Malia in Crete was definitely one of the best weeks of my life. I had a real laugh with my mates. Even though I have written bad points, none of them really bothered me, and it was a great week.

Malia is great for partying and having fun! it has a great atmosphere and the area itself is beautiful.
