Irregular Choice Shoes

Today i received the pair of shoes for my daughters birthday and the tissue paper in the box was all screwed up as if the shoes had been returned and re sent out , I don't have enough time to return them before her birthday so i rang them up and they said that they cannot guarantee that the replacement will be and better with the packaging , I find this absolutely diabolical for the price of this item

I have been a long time customer of Irregular Choice. I own more than 30 pairs of Irregular Choice shoes, and will never purchase another pair again!

I went to the Carnaby Street store and bought two pair of shoes from the current collection. Three months later, I took one pair back for repair. I had worn them twice. Other than the fact that one shoe could not be worn in the current state, they were clearly not over worn. I was given a hard time because I didn't have the receipt or the box with me, and could not prove that I bought them at Carnaby Street. As far as I'm concerned, it does not matter where I bought them. They are from your most recent collection and are broken. You should fix them! If they were a few years old, I would have taken them to a cobbler for repair. But as they are still on your shelves, accept that the shoe is faulty and needs fixing. Do NOT argue about where I purchased them.

They finally, after a few weeks, agreed to have the shoe repaired. I asked them to ship the shoe to me when done, noting 'used shoe' on the shipping label. As I live in Switzerland, I wanted to make sure I didn't have to pay duty on the shoe again. They failed to follow my instruction, and the duty ended up costing me more than taking the shoe to a cobbler for repair.

Nothing about this experience, from start to finish, suggests that Irregular Choice knows anything about taking care of their customers. They have lost a good customer who will tell anyone who shops with them exactly what she thinks of their service!

I bought a pair of irregular choice shoes as a present, when they turned up they were the wrong size shoes in the right size box. I contacted their support team and when they eventually responded they said to return them, the birthday had by this time already passed. I sent them recorded delivery and write the order reference and my name etc as the return to sender. Over a week passed after being sent and I contacted them again, they claimed not to have received them and could I supply proof of postage!!

Luckily enough I retained the receipt and the signature of whom signed for them was on the Royal Mail website.

Still no response so I contacted PayPal and sent irregular choice a irate message saying not to bother replacing them and to just refund them.

They couldn't even be bothered to refund them and they were just dragging their feet every step of the way, they told me to enter my postage details in PayPal and then they would refund them.

Awful customer service for middle of the range shoe designer.

Certainly won't be purchasing from them again.

This company are the UK licence holder/Distributor for Poetic Licence shoes as well as their own Irregular Choice brand.

The shoes can be somewhat elaborate! I bought a pair of shoes which I have worn maybe 2 or 3 times and keep in the box when not being worn. All my shoes are boxed. I have many pairs of IC and Poetic licence shoes. This pair have flowers on the front. One of the flowers came unstitched. I contacted IC Cusotmer Service through their Facebook page for suggestions to get it fixed, they did not respond. I sent them an email with a photo eventually. A local cobbler wouldn't touch it and suggested I glued it. IC Customer Service said they didnt recognise the shoe and suggested a company who might repair it. None local to me. I couldn't find my receipt but realised after I had only had these shoes since March and bought them from their London Carnaby Street Shop so I have my credit card bill. I sent another email with the details of the bar code on the box and said where and when I had bought the shoes and never heard another word. They could have offered to send trhem back to the factory for a proper repair. I ended up glueing them. I wasn't expecting a refund or an exchange or anything but it is poor showing for customer satisfaction. They could have been a bit more interested. Their shoes cost a fortune and they are always trumpeting satisfied customers, posting photos etc on their Facebook page, what about the unsatisfied ones, you cant just ignore them.....

It will be a long time before I buy another pair.

Cool shoes. I've bought loads. The staff are excellent at the Brighton branch - so friendly, cool and professional - very refreshing. other shops in Brighton take lessons off these guys!

Well I love these multi color boots! However they feel slippery and unstable. They don't rest flat on the floor as I walk and I'm wondering if its a defect or others have had this problem. I adore them but because they are slippery and higher at the center of the bottom of the sole, I feel precariously like I might fall. I wrote to customer service and hope my experience with them will be better than some of the other reviews. We'll see.....

My wife bought a pair of the "Mini in my dreams" irregular choice shoes and the quality is atrocious !!!!! She wore them once to work and the heel is already scuffed and wearing through and the heel tip on one shoe is coming off. Expensive shoes but the quality is rubbish !!!! Taking back to Schuh for a refund tomorrow.......

Wore my £80 shoes once to a wedding and the trim fell away and the fabric frayed away. I haven't even worn them outside (only to walk into a hotel from the car park!)

Sent photo's of the damage to irregular choice customer service (a girl called Emma mans this department) and they have completely ignored me.

Such a shame I have 6 pairs and 2 bags from them, all lasted really well until this pair. I will not buy from them again, nor will I recommend to any of my customers (in fact I will do just the opposite)

The shoes are super but if you think you can return them to their online store if they don't fit as per their promise, THINK AGAIN! Returned mine 3 months ago, they confirmed receipt but don't remember getting them. Stock-control? Hello??? That £80 down the pan and absolutely nothing one can do as they customer service people only ask if you are sure you returned them. Unbelievable. You are better of buying elsewhere if you want hei shoes. Use a shop or even eBay.

I spent days debating whether to buy them or not, the reviews were so mixed it was hard to make a choice , mainly on the size issue and what the quality would be. I ordered two pairs from their on-line store and went with my regular size of 39. The day of delivery came and as I opened them I thought OMG how small they look, I will never get my feet into those. I had visions of cindrella and the glass slipper with me being the ugly sister squeezing suddenly huge looking feet into the most delicate and beautiful looking shoes I have seen.

I took a deep breath and went for it, and wow they fitted, it is deceiving as the heels are slightly off set so it appears they look small but were not. A perfect fit for me with both pairs, the fabric means they are soft and they really felt comfortable.

They are A Work Of Art so remember that when ordering them , if you want to wear them out over and over for hour upon hour most probably not for you. They are delicate but not so much so they will fall apart. They need to be treated like all women with tender loving care.
