Waste Of Time
Do not buy this product. It does not work! I followed the directions left it in for two hours and NOTHING! 3 hours of wasted time just to have to go buy what I know works and so it all over again. My hair now feels like straw and clumps fell out when I was combing it. I am so frustrated.

Useless Product
I tried this product twice, even though it didn't work at all the first time. I followed instructions, let it stay for 2 hours but, NO results. The second time I let it stay for 6 hours, and guess what ? no results either.
The powder inside is just of extremely poor quality.
You might as well buy fresh henna and mix it yourself.
Cheers!

I have coloured my hair with the Logona Herbal Powders for nearly a year now (using a mix of henna red and golden blonde). The colours have most definitely taken and coloured all my hair incl my grey (about 30%). So I am wondering why yours hasn't. They won't take to previously chemically coloured hair. You need to wait sometime. I do use equivalent to a whole colour pack and my hair is a shortish bob. Yet the instructions say one pack for longer hair so maybe that has something to do with it. I always apply their pre colour conditioner, which effectively strips out all impurities before hand. And that definitely does work as my hair feels pretty stripped after using. Anyway these are just some thoughts but sounds like you might have written off in any event which is a shame.

Absolutely Useless
I bought Logona hair colour powder Natural Brown, followed exact instructions, although it was very difficult for me to wait for two hours but I did. When I washed my hairs with plain water not even used any shampo, the result was absolutely no change. All the claims are wrong. So please do not waist your money and time.

Wonderful Product
I've used Logona Sahara Herbal Hair Color for over 7 years. I have fine, graying copper-red hair. If you mix it exactly as directed with HOT water the consistency will be just right. Just go slow and don't apply too much on at once. I love the body, shine and great color my hair has with this product. It turns my grays blonde and they blend beautifully with the revitalized red. It's almost like my hair was in my teens. It's never a flat color because each hair takes up the color slightly differently. It helps so much with fly-aways in the dry winter air. I only need to use it every three months. I'm 57. It does smell herby for a few days after use, but it's sooo worth it! The instructions say it's not to be used if you have used chemical dyes on your hair. I'm guessing, but perhaps that is why some have had poor results. It's always been great for me.
Hi it sounds like I have similar coloured hair ( copper red now greying) and would like to try the sahara colour. Can you tell me how long you leave it on for? The instructions say no time at all as will end up too red. I'd be interested to know what you do as I like the sound of the outcome. Many thanks.

Ok Im A First Time Hair Colour-er. I Have Long Bla
Ok Im a first time hair colour-er. I have long black Asian Hair with greys now showing up in my parting mostly. Tried Logona 25% black and 75% brown umber powder for 2-3 hours but was very dismayed when I washed it off and my grey was as grey as before. Im going to persist with re-application till I finish the 2 boxes maybe changing the colours to 50% each and see what happens. I dont want to use chemical stuff unless i have to. I wouldnt mind using pure henna+indigo but apparently it wreaks havoc on the drainage pipes over time...is that right?
If someone can comment on my situation or offer advice I will be grateful
Cheers..ASH

Persevere With Logona Herbal Hair Colours And The
Persevere with Logona Herbal Hair Colours and the results will be worthwhile. I invested £70 and a good few hours of experimental mixing and strand testing before I was able to achieve a result I was happy with. In the end, I purchased four different colours and also found that the clay based cleansing pre-treatment was beneficial. (This in itself seemed to tone down my original look before I started with the Logona colours). I have chemically coloured hair with some lighter blonde colours on a mid/dark brown natural base and wanted to stop the chemical process and find something more natural and cost effective. I wanted to tone down the lighter colours to match in with my natural colour whilst I grow it out. Originally I tried Chestnut Brown but it didn't touch my existing colour and I was disappointed. In the end, it was necessary to use the henna black as a base - I came up with a formula of half black, a quarter umber brown and a quarter mahogony. It was necessary to add the mahogony to change the blondest parts of my chemically treated hair a warm chestnut - without this, the henna black on its own made the blonde greenish. I was worried that the blonder dyed hair would be very absorbant and soak up the colour - in reality, getting any colour to 'take' on top of the blonde was the biggest challenge and I get the feeling that it was the redness of the Mahogony combined with the black that did the trick. I left a full eight weeks between the last salon chemical treatment and attempting this at home. I used coffee in the hot water mix and left it on for two full hours. I think I will need to repeat this process and build up the colour but at least I've managed to tone down the blonde look to achieve something far more warm and natural. I am a very allergic, sensitive person so for me it's worth the time and experimentation. The products are very gentle - if you spill or splash, they simply wipe away without staining. Aside from my initial investment, I reckon I will save £350 a year on salon colouring. It's fiddly to start with but I'm optimistic that this will be a safer, more economic process producing a warm, pretty look. I'm waving goodbye to the tangled, damaged mess chemicals have caused and moving onto a stylish new look!!

Very Poor And Disappointing. Quality Is Very Poor.
very poor and disappointing. quality is very poor. it is worth to buy something from Poundland and you will get the better results. PLUS you need to be a language expert. all the instructions are in "god knows what language". To buy such poor quality product you need consider the cost of the translator first.

I Used Logona Several Times And The Colours Were A
I used Logona several times and the colours were all too light and ginger, so I tried by adding black and this worked better the last time I used chestnut and 40% black and finally have a wonderful light auburn colour completely covering my grey roots. I realise it is an ordeal and messy but the result on my very fine thin hair is so much improved than other so called natural dies like Herbatint and Naturtint which over a period of months thinned my hair, that it has to be worth it, just persevere

I've Been Using Combo Of Mahogany And Red On My Gr
I've been using combo of mahogany and red on my graying brown hair. I started using it ~10 years ago every 2-3 months (I'm 48 now). Couple of tips: use red wine instead of water, it greatly enhances the color; use a larger non-metal cup or bowl; add 2 tablespoons of olive oil for conditioning; apply when very hot.

I Have Used Their "natural Brown" For Years Now, I
I have used their "natural brown" for years now, it is excellent! It is very easy to make and to apply, if you follow the instructions. Just add a little water to the powder first, stir and then add more.
I usually leave it in for about an hour and get a result which looks exactly like my natural hair colour just without the grey (The grey hair turns blond). The only downside is the smell (which goes away after a day or two).
By the way Logona hair colours are pretty much the only ones which don't cause cancer.
Q&A
I ordered Logona hair dye but they only have instructions in French, Spanish, Italian and no English. How can I use and apply the hair dye if I cannot understand the instructions? Can anyone help me?
