Breitling - Poor Service- Awful Customer Service
When you send your watch for a battery replacement Breitling send you a quote for 550$.
You call customer service and they tell you that full service is required.
I paid the full amount and my watch was returned and I was unable to twist the crown, impossible to go through all the menues.
Since I didn't complain right away Breitling refused to repair my watch unless I pai 550$ again.
DO NOT BUY BREITLING - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - POOR WAYCH QUALITY, NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Aviator Watch A Failure
My approx five year old hardly worn watch was left with their service with digital time working, but analogue hands suddenly not adjustable.
Received a quote from them for approx Aust $1600.00 to rectify. I visited the Sydney centre store & was advised that a new circuit chip was faulty & had to be replaced.
Obviously very poor durability, so asked them to remove the battery which cost a service fee of &49.00 regardless.
Expensive, overrated JUNK which now lives in a drawer & lesson well learned.
Very Disappointed
I brought Breitling watch for my brother, but it doesn't worked well even for 1 month. Very disappointed with this watch. I will never buy this again.

Poor Quality Service And Watch
Bought my Avenger seawolf II in 2012. Had it fully serviced at a cost of 600 EUR in 2017. Bracelet had at that point started becoming loose as a pin in the clasp would slide out. Service does not include replacing it, so the watch came back with the clasp still broken. Contacted the dealer, and the said the only way to fix the problem is to replace the clasp at 350 EUR, or the bracelet at 650 EUR. Apparently Breitling bracelets don't last 6 years with normal use.

Watch Has Never Kept Time
I have a trans-ocean day date watch that has never kept time. Sent it to Breitling under warranty They said it was fixed but it still would not keep time. Sent it back to Breitling for the same problem and they want $1,100 to fix the watch, even though they didn't fix it the first time. I don't recommend Breitling to anyone. It is over priced junk and Breitling does not stand behind the product.
I agree. I have the same watch and it loses 2 mins over 3 days. I sent it back and they said it may have been in the shop stock for too long. They rewound the spring and sent it back but no change. I have since had it serviced and it is is still no good. A 4.5k bracelet. I use my phone to tell the time

Never Buy A Breitling Watch!! Don't Make My Mistake!!
I have owned a Navitimer Men's watch for the last 5 years and have nothing but trouble. Sure the watch is beautiful however it has not worked for more than 10 months at a time. It has literally been in service longer than I have have had time to enjoy the watch. from water ingress through to hands falling off the dial and now I have been advised 'impact' has caused the latest breakdown which has been quoted at US$1,100 to repair. I am an architect and only wear the watch to work and dinner. If this type of daily activity causes 'impact' which creates US$1,100 damage, these watches are extremely poor quality! I have 5 other watches which I also have worn over the past 20 years, all subject to the same daily activities and have NEVER had to repair another watch. How does the Breitling need repair every 10 months or less. DON'T BUY ONE......like all others on the Forum, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Breitling Does Not Stand Behind Its Products
In May 2017, I purchased from an official Breitling retailer a new Super Ocean Heritage 42. The watch looked great.
When I got it home, I noticed that the hour hand did not align with the hour markers. The minute hand had to go anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes past the hour to bet aligned.
I requested a return to have this fixed, and when I received my watch back, it, a brand new watch had been serviced but nothing done to fix the issue. I called and eventually got the customer service manager, who stated several times that this was within specification.
I requested a conversation with the US President, who I was told does not speak to customers. So I wrote the CEO in Switzerland a letter. The next day, I received a call from the same customer service manager who requested the watch be returned.
I then took pictures of watch at all 12 positions and highlighted the discrepancies. After another week plus, I received an email back stating that it had been fixed, so I authorized the return as long as all positions had been fixed.
Needless to say, there were still two positions visibly out of alignment. Upon notifying this same manager again, I was told that this met Breitling spec.
A watch that is a chronometer is out by over 5 minutes does not seem worth the reputation that this company has, and their lack of empathy is industry leading.

Warranty Not Worth Anything
just over a year after purchasing my Breitling watch it got condensation under the glass. I sent it back to Breitling as it was under warranty for 2 years. they want £823 to fix the problem stating that it was caused by accidental damage.
there are no marks on the watch and they say that it could have happened by changing the time when flying.
I have been wearing Omegas & Baum Mercier watches for years and have never had this problem.
while their watches may be good, if their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on, I would not recommend purchasing a watch from them.
in short it's an expensive watch with no warranty.

Do Not But One!
I am a pilot so thought with my wife I would buy a Breitling as she loved the watch as much as I thought I did. I live in Australia and I can tell you straight out do not buy one period! I had two Tags over ten years and not one single problem. The Breitling after 12 months just stopped so I thought no big deal its under warranty. No I had to drive 90kms to place I could return it only to be told it will be 6-8 weeks? I was never told anything about warranty times etc.when I bought it which was interstate for me. Sure enough 7 weeks later it returns and working. 4 weeks after that it stops again so I return it yet again. After 3 weeks they tell me I have knocked it and therefore because it does not work its my fault only to be billed $600. I was annoyed to say the least but I paid it as I wanted it back and I hadn't heard anything so inquired today only to be told yes they have received the money I transferred but it will take another ten weeks to get back to me. If I'm lucky I'll get it back before Christmas. This is the worst service I have ever heard of and no one really cares. I own and operate numerous companies and I can tell you if I delivered service like this I would be broke. As soon as this piece of rubbish is back in my hand I will be selling it. Anyone want a CHEAP (yes it is cheap) watch. Never again Breitling you should learn the importance of the lifetime value of a customer as you will not be getting any from me. Im 48 and this is the first review I have ever done in my life on anything!! so it clearly shows how disappointed I am in this brand. Buy a Mickey mouse watch would be a better choice.
