Smart, No! Disaster Horrific Smart Car
I purchased a Smart CDi on a MB finance plan with the final payment due July '13. It is now on its 4th visit to the service dept, for power-loss problems due to a sensor. We spoke with customer care on 0080097777777 and came away worse for the experience, didn't even ask for vehicle reg!needless to say I will NOT be taking up the final payment option. MB has been the worst experience of my motoring life! We are affected by really bad weather, with no courtesy car available, no collect and return offered. Must end now, got to run and catch the bus.

I've Just Recently Purchased My Second Smart Car I
I've just recently purchased my second smart car I love it that much :) 2 weeks prior to writing this review, I was actually involved in a serious car crash on the motorway involving myself, two HGV's and a central reservation! the smart car was wrote off, but we walked away from it with minor bruises and whiplash! I can't express to people just how safe these smart cars! any other small car, and it would've been a totally different story! I would fully recommend to anybody this car, purely based on how it saved our lives (but sadly sacrificed herself in the process)!
On another note, the car is brilliant to drive, nippy and fun :) the sleeping policeman are a bit of a nightmare, but so long as you slow down worries, and I always averaged around 50-53mpg! and that wasn't even driving conservatively! and like everyone else said they are outrageously spacious! and deserve far more credit then they are given :)

I Downsized From A Large 5 Door Car To A Smart For
I downsized from a large 5 door car to a smart ForTwo Passion. £30 annual tax and just under 50MPG ( you must be a saint to get the quoted MPG). It's a great little car, always under-estimated at the lights (it's initial acceleration is much better than anybody imagines) and it's coped well in the snow and ice. It's also a tardis, and will easily take a couple of guitars in the back or a full weeks shopping.
Good equipment levels. It can play in the wind and it doesn't like sleeping police-men. You may find the ride a little firm or noisy depending what you move from (I moved from a performance car and comfort in the smart is better!). Great community online will help with any questions! Oh, and ask for a discount on main dealer servicing, I can't believe anybody pays full retail!

I Am A Single Female Who Has Had Many Different Ca
I am a single female who has had many different cars of all shapes and sizes. I have recently purchased a Passion cabriolet and absolutley love it! It is economical for around town and to/from work and so easy to park! The interior is spacious and more than comfortable for 2 people. I often travel my boxer in the foot well of the passenger side and she does not mind a bit. The only downside is the gears can be a little sluggish and the speed bumps are bumpy, but hey I wanted a cheap, nifty, fun car which is what I have and for now and especially in these times would not change for any other. I bought it second hand with 2300 miles and heated leather seats, so I have air con and no roof for the sun and heat for the winter...fabulous!!!

Even Though It Is And Also Looks Small, There's Pl
Even though it is and also looks small, there's plenty interior space. I've told people to sit in mine to realise that the interior is spacious. Decent boot space for a couple (without kids). Practical car with no major frills. Heater takes some time to warm up (frustrating in icy weather) but rear windscreen clears in a few minutes. Lots of power for the small engine especially when pulling off. Gear change not the best and rather sluggish. Also tends to jerk the car. Fuel consumption is good - ave 49mpg which isn't bad when it takes me 30-75min to drive 15 miles home with most of the time being spent crawling along the M25/M4 London motorways.

Now On My Second Smart Fortwo - The Newer Model Is
Now on my second Smart Fortwo - the newer model is a great improvement. Easy to park, easy on petrol, nippy, loaded with lots of goodies and despite what you would think, you can get a heck of a lot into it. What's not to like? I'm looking at getting my third Smart in December/January. My only disappointment is that trials of the new electric Smart are restricted to the South East/London so only folk who live down there can take part. Is that some kind of regional bias?

We Have The Newer Smart The 57 Reg And It Is Fanta
We have the newer smart the 57 reg and it is fantastic, even my husband of whom would not admit to owning one at the start has admitted that it is a fantastic little car. There is a suprising amount of room, we have a Labradour of whom rides comfortably in the boot and when we looked after afriends dogs (a Lab collie cross and another lab) They all fitted in no problem. I really would recommend this car, the only downer is that you do feel every speed bump! Also it has only two seats, but at least you don't have to be a taxi service!

The Smart Fortwo Passion Is An Expensive Little Ca
The Smart Fortwo Passion is an expensive little car considering the quality. Bought one brand new that had trouble with a water leak from the start. After 2 years of in and out of shop, dealer changed to another one (used) that has again developed a water leak. Not covered by insurance. Generally cut, cheap to run, but not well made.
I would like to say you get what you pay for, but in this case you get less.

Smart Cars Like The Smart Fortwo Are Small Cute Ca
Smart Cars like the Smart ForTwo are small cute car inexpensive to run. however what ever you save in running it, you pay in the outlay.
Had a new one developed a water leak in weeks. 2 years of back and forth to the shops, they replaced with another(used one). this one now has a leak. $50 to fix, insurance does not cover leaks. This is a case of not getting what you pay for. Car expensive, not refkected in the construction, certainly not to be associated with daimler-crystler!
