Twice I’ve travelled from Westbury and never bought a thing they won’t let you anywhere near the items since covid never have thing that you want and look at you like you’ve just done a poo in there shop would never use again

Ordered over £200 worth of items from this site, during the CoVid19 lockdown, and you'd have thought I'd have walked into their store and insulted all their families.

I will begin with the fact, like most people I don't bother reading the terms and conditions when buying online. I also live in Northern Ireland.

Now, this business has an online presence and refuses to ship to parts of the UK, for some unknown reason. I got told this when my order was emailed back to me by the owner saying he was cancelling the order and refunding me because he doesn't post to certain parts of the country.

He uses Royal Mail and they deliver everywhere for the same price. A stamp will get a letter from Belfast to Bognor Regis.

AVOID

I spent a lot of money in this shop and when I bought a small drone for my grandson it failed after hitting the back of the sofa. The owner of the shop refused to give me a refund insinuating that I was crash damage, it hit a cushion ? I will never shop there again.

I ordered a new battery online. Very quick to take my money, very slow on delivery. After a week I'm still waiting. Is ModelManiacs a real store or one of those shame sites?

Knowing nothing about lipos I got great advice on charging and care of these. Ordered a kit/charger and power pack. Told it would come 2 days later - it did, on the dot. Would thoroughly recommend this dealer.

I recently received a plane which had the transmitter missing from the box. Very disappointed as this was a present for my son who had waited ages to get it.

Needless to say my son was very upset, having to explain to a 8 year old as to why he can't fly his new plane is never a good task. Just wish good were inspected prior to delivery. Will shop elsewhere in future.

I bought a battery from this shop and subsequently had a problem with it and phoned for assistance. The person I spoke to was aggressive and rude. Instead of offering help he put the phone down on me. When I realised a refund was not possible I had considered buying a replacement battery. Now I will get it elsewhere.

Easily ordered through the website at a very good price and recieved our train set within 2 days in December which is fantastic. I will definitely be using them again for our train needs.

My most recent order was not a very good experience; in fact the service I received has been appalling.

The prices however are very competitive.

Mark if you are still the owner of this fine model shop I would sort this out before customers turn to less experienced but more helpful online traders.

Excellent site and very clear to find spares and browse. good choice and good prices. Very helpful on the phone when I called unsure of which engine I should use.
