I ordered an Armex/Anglo arms mark two pistol bow (aluminium body) last year for £40 only to be sent the mark one (£23 or less on more reputible sites!). When I picked it up it felt like an empty box&when I opened it,it was a plastic bow like something you'll buy at a Fair lol phoned them up&sent it back straight away only to be told thats what I ordered&no apologies (I ordered the mark two bow pictured on their website) took me months to get my money back coz they only refunded my post by mistake (funnily enough) but in the meantime I got one off BLADES&BOWS for £32&received the excellent bow ]'d ordered,no messing about! Hey folks,I would never do business with bar again,they conned me on purpose&even hung up on my calls coz I wanted my hard earned money back,all in all a shower of shit&not to be trusted when ordering on-line, Ady, South Wales

I recently visited Blackpool air rifles to buy a HW100T, first time at BAR for me and not disappointed. Came away with what I wanted including numerous accessories all of which took me almost an hour and a half to choose after much trying and discussion with the guys there. Heath was very patient and keen to ensure I got what I wanted and did a really good job I thought. He was knowledgable and not at all pushy or keen to palm me off with something that didn't suit or that I didn't want or need.

The purchase was in excess of £1000 and a deal was available without any arguemet or issue, I was glad to give them my business even with a 100 mile round trip. Well worth a visit and would defintaley recommend them, they were all very friendly and accommodating.

the Blackpool gun shop is friendly with a great range of guns new and old. the staff are prepared to help and advice on guns. I have used the gun shop twice to buy air guns and been happy with service and will be going back in the new year to get my wife a gun.

my son odered a brass bolt brass trigger gard and brass trigger for my s400, it was for my 65th birthday, he does not earn a great deal of money so this is why i was so upset when only the brass bolt arrived, they told him there was a ten day wait for the other items, he placed the order on the 2d of november 2013, the other two parts arrived in februaryy to find that they were for an earlyer model, i sent the items back and three weeks later they told me that the company had gone bust, so i asked them if they could put the money back on my sons card, the said yes no problem, well, another three weeks passed and i rang them, only to be told that they could not find the original order, by this time i was steaming and was looking to take legal action as i know i was being messed about, another month passed and at last the money was back in my sons account. would i recomend this company to anyone, NOT on your life.

Reading the last couple of reviews I had to look again to see if I was reviewing the right place, but I suppose if they are true reviews and not jealous competitors then everyone can make mistakes.

I have made a huge amount of purchases here over the yeArs and have always found the service to be absolutely first class in every respect. There is a great deal of knowledge and honest advice freely available here and I for one respect a company that will give you an honest opinion on products without just trying to sell you something in pursuit of a quick few quid.

Most shops will sell you any old rubbish without a second thought about you returning as a repeat customer.

I have had to return faulty items before and my problems were sorted in a quick and courteous manner.

I traveled from scotland to buy my new AA S200, scope, divers bottle etc, etc.. also bought magazine conversion and spare mags. When I got home, found the mags to be used and the o-ring in them in tatters. Rang up to inform them and staff were unsurprised, said it happened alot although they never bothered to check them, but if i really wanted replacements then I'd have to foot the bill to return them. Needless to say I was not happy!

I returned the items by post, but a few weeks later nothing. I called them up, asked for an update and all I got was 'not sending any.' i returned 2 magazines, which weren't cheap, and paid for postage myself. Asked for refund and got laughed at. Guy on fone was unconcerned at the fact that goods were not new, and they'd lost the ones that I had returned.

Its a well stocked shop, and the staff are knowledgeable. The shop is crammed with goodies and the staff are really friendly and chatty... until you have a problem. And I do mean 'you have a problem'. You call them up for a quote or to pre-order and they are the friendliest bunch, but if you have to call them back to discuss/fix a problem then mr arrogance takes over and they just couldn't care less.

I could have paid another visit, 500 mile round trip.. could have taken steps to recover goods or money... decided its too much hassle. If I'm ever in blackpool again I'd no doubt pay a visit.

Its a great place to visit, and quite good prices, but if you buy anything, CHECK the whole thing over, don't take their word for it. And if you ever have to return an item, do so in persom as seemingly, recorded delivery items are easily lost after delivery..

Well here we go again eh, i have been after a item for one of my guns for ages , saw on the BAR site that they had them in stock so ordered said item .Effecient transaction etc' then next morning ,oh this item is not in stock !! Eeer hello why is the web site saying it IS in stock lads , which an hour later was saying out of stock .In my genuine opinion this shop has too many chiefs and not enough indians in it ,this is the THIRD time i have dealt with this shop and i have been let down all three times by them ,and there was i thinking third time lucky LMAO .NEVER AGAIN

Bought 2 HW pistols last week, a Blackstar and a Silverstar, excellent guns and shooting really well after a tin of pellets.

More importantly brilliant service from the tall bald man (sorry but forgot his name), could not have been more professional, courteous and helpful, had just been to another shop and got quite the opposite.

Great service and will be back for more.

JUST GOT A BSA R10 IN 22cal FANTASTIC SERVICE GREAT HELP FOR ADVICE AND EVEN GOT A CUP OF TEA ASS YOU WAITE JUST LIKE TO SAY WELL DONE TO LOYD AND HIS TEAM THANKS AGAIN .PS THIS SHOP STANDS ABOVE THE REST FOR ME.
