On Line Purchase Of A Refex Multi Skate Tool

Ordered 3 Reflex Multi Skate Tools on 4/9/2016. Received notice on 4/10/2016 That one of my items been shipped. On 4/11/2016 I receive this email

"Thank you for your order with Zumiez.com! In the process of fulfilling your order, we have discovered we are out of stock on one or more of the items. The item(s) below have been canceled from your order:

• 2.00 x Reflex Utili-Tool Skateboard Tool

If there were additional items on your order you should receive them very soon. "

On 4/15/2016 I contact Zumiez customer support via a phone call about not receiving my refund of $32.41 for the 2 items as well as why my other has not been shipped. Response was to reissue of refund and send item out in next day shipping. That the reason for cancel of other 2 items was they were out of stock of grey that all they had was pink. I told NO PINK.

On 4/22/2016 I had to contact Zumiez customer support again. That I still did not receive my $32.41 refund and the Reflex Ital-Tool Skateboard Tool

that was sent was not grey as ordered but PINK. I told them I will keep the PINK one but I was unhappy, also I have not received refund. They said that it has not been cleared by paypal. So I went to my paypal account and there was a refund from Zumiez for only $16.20 not the full amount. I had to open a dispute with paypal. That I did not receive a refund for 2 of the 3 items ordered. That I only received 1 item, refunded for a second, but have not received any refund for the third item. I explained this clearly to customer support. That Zumiez did not refund me the correct amount. That they still owe me $16.21. But paypal screwed it up again. And said.

"Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User

Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It

does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods

received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a

refund."

I have no idea what they are talking about. "the shipment of goods. It

They never shipped the item, I want a refund. Well I never received a refund as of yet for the Item I did not RECEIVE from ZUMIEZ for $16.21 and do not expect it. Do not buy anything on line from ZUMIEZ and Dealing with both Paypal and Zumiez is a joke. Zumiez just ripped me off for $16.21 and paypal let them do it because they have no clue what they are doing.

Just so you know I contacted Zumiez once again on 4/22 about the remaining $16.21 Refund via phone and they said they refund it again, and sent this email to me "Good morning, sir!

I apologize again for everything that you've had to go through in regards to this order. That isn't how we intend to do business and that certainly isn't how we treat our customers. I am, however, happy to report that we applied the other half of your discount successfully. You will see that reflect on your statement in 3-5 business days. Again, I am so sorry for any frustration that this process may have caused you. I hope that I was able to help but please let me know if there is anything else that you need. I'll do my best to assist!

I ordered 2 different hats at 2 different times the first one they shipped with dhl and I got a 25$ custom's fee the second time I ordered a hat thinking last time was luck of the draw it shipped with ups and had to pay 20$ of custom's not only that but they said they used dhl when I found out it was for ups is when I checked every other shipping site because it said it was not a valid tracking id

Over Charged My Credit Card!

Last week, I ordered three shirts from Zumiez Online Store. Of course, I was charged the total amount at time of purchase. I was checking my credit card account and noticed that Zumiez put an additional $100 of funds on hold on my credit card. I called customer care to inquire and they said that since my order had to come from different stores, they each charged you but those charges would drop off. That is horrible in my opinion. I have never had that happen from any store that I have ordered from online. What if that $100 was not available or I needed it to pay a bill? They should charge you one time and deal with it themselves not put it on the consumer. I will never buy anything online from them again! As of right now, those charges are still pending. They better not go through or I will be super angry. Be warned about their questionable practices!

Very Bad Experience

Ordered a couple of items. Took them 3-4 days to contact me saying that the items are out of stock. They also stated that i have not been charged for what has not shipped out. BUT I was already charged for EVERYTHING i have ordered. DO NOT ORDER FROM ZUMIEZ.

Canadian? Forget Zumiez

I had the worst experience I've ever had shopping online at Zumiez. I ordered several items that were "2 for 1" or "50% off the 2nd item" deals. I complete the order and find out that I've been charged in USD instead of Canadian currency, so I pay an extra $40. Then I get an email saying 2 of the items (both "50% for the 2nd pair" deals) aren't available. Then I try and choose different items for the same price and find out they are also NOT available, only to find out that the stuff has already been shipped and I can't cancel my order. After that, I get an email from DHL saying they're going to charge me ANOTHER $50 for Customs fees!

So now, I'm getting 2 items I didn't really want but only got because they were part of a deal with other items that I can't get!!! Then the currency and customs fees for stuff I don't even want at this point.

I've never been so annoyed and frustrated shopping online. I feel like I got robbed.

Canadian On Line Buyers Beware!!!

I couldn't agree more that as a Canadian buyer, you must not think you are getting a deal. You are not! You are charged $20 for delivery to Canada and then have to pay duty on top plus processing fee. I had to pay an additional $45 for items costing me less than $25.

Not a bargain at all. Costly lesson. Never buy on line from Zumiez and beware of DHL. They are expensive.

However, the colors of the items I purchased were ok.

Does Not Deliver Customer Service Or Goods As Promised

I've ordered twice now and both times have been a major hassle. The first time I ordered they had a buy one get one half off. I ordered and it was not crediting the half off. I called Zumiez and they told me they were having trouble with their system to go ahead with the order and they would credit my account. So I went ahead trusting they would do as they said. After many phone calls and a month later I finally received the credit.

Second order was the same buy one get one half off. This time the order went through no problem. This was December 26, 2013. 2 weeks later we receive our order but are missing an item. I get an email from Zumiez that they were out of stock of the item and I would receive a credit.

It is now February 26, 2014 and I have made many phone calls and have received many promises that I would receive a gift card in the mail still nothing. I have called and spoken to supervisors and they also have made promises and still nothing! I called again today and am awaiting a call back because their phone system is so user friendly! NOT!I think 2 months is more then enough time to expect them to come through. Don't you!

Online Order Terror

To all potential online customers be forewarned about Zumiez's lack of care or concern for customer service. On September sixth I made a very larger expensive order. I was charged for the order but after two weeks received no shipping information. So I emailed their "customer care" help people and received no human response. So I go to check my order status the day after and it now says shipped with no response from "customer care". Then I receive my order with two items missing. Not only was my order significantly late but items I had been charged for we're missing. So I email customer care again expressing my dissatisfaction in their service. I finally receive a response and receive no apology for the lack of care or customer service. I had been told nothing is charged until it is shipped and I wasn't charged for the two items that didn't ship. I check my credit card statement an see that that was not the case I was charged for the whole order before it shipped never told the two items that weren't were out of stock and they didn't actually refund the money for the two items they did charge me for until two days ago. This place clearly has no concern for their customer and it is disgusting all potential customers should know this before purchasing!

Canadians -- Stay Away From Zumiez On-line

Anyone living in Canada should avoid making on-line purchases from Zumiez!

I bought a $100 Penny board from Zumiez and paid $25 shipping and then I was asked to pay another $30 when the board arrived at my door. If it wasn't that it was for my son's birthday I would have refused the parcel.

With the exchange I paid over $160 for a $100 skateboard.

Zumiez is NOT Canada friendly, STAY AWAY FROM THEIR ON-LINE STORE.

Next time, I'll be going to a local retailer.

Zumiez Online Store Sent My Package To A Closed Store

I ordered a swimsuit (BEACH RIOT CLAYTON top/bottom in red/black) on 4/3/2013 from the Zumiez website. I needed the swimsuit for 4/14/2013, so I had plenty of time for the item to be shipped to the store. For shipping directions I entered my area code and from the drop down list of stores to choose from I picked the 4999 Old Orchard Ctr Store K13 because it is the most convenient for me to get to. I waited several days and after receiving my shipping information and it not being able to track my order, I called the Zumiez costumer service number on 4/9/13 to find out when is the expected date my order is to arrive in the store since Zumiez says it was shipped on the 4/3/13. The representative told me to give it a couple more days and that I can just call the store directly. Later that evening I received a message from UPS with tracking information that showed it was going to be ready to be sent out for delivery. I tried calling the Zumiez location on 4/10 to see if my packaged arrived and I got a recording that said the number is no longer in service or disconnected, I was really confused at this point, but just assumed it may have been an old number that hadn't been updated. I called the Zumiez costumer service and she told me the package should arrive the next morning, I then told her how I was concerned about calling the store and the message I received when i did. She asked me to just call Costumer service instead of the store location to find out if my package had arrived. The following morning 4/12 I waited until 10:45 am to call the costumer service to see if my packaged arrived, the store locator said the Skokie store location opens at 10 am. When I spoke to the representative she only asked for my phone number to find my package, in which i gave it to her. She told me she's looking at the tracking information and it says it is out for delivery and should be arriving but hasn't reached the store yet. I asked her if she knew what time it might be arriving so i could plan accordingly to pick up the package possibly in the evening as i would be extremely busy the following day. She said she wasn't sure, but it should definitely be there later today or by Saturday morning. I came home later that evening around 10pm and looked up the UPS tracking information to see if my package had arrived. Upon clicking my tracking number this is what i saw:

At this point I can't even contact costumer service until Monday because the hours are closed. I was extremely upset, because when I called the representative that morning it was an hour after UPS had attempted a delivery where there is apparently no longer a Zumiez store. This issue could have been resolved if she just realized this and did something to contact UPS to fix my order or have it sent to a different address. The representative did absolutely nothing to help resolve, apologize, or even inform me as to what was going on. It is completely unprofessional of the Zumiez company to not update their website and offer shipping to a location that no longer exists. Your costumer service is unprofessional and lacking because even though I had told her my concern about the store's phone number she had no interest in seeing what may have been wrong with it. Every single time I called, regardless of the time they seemed generally unhappy to help and as if they were just waking up from a nap. I am never shopping from this store again, online or otherwise.
