I'm sorry if my first email was confusing. I thought I mentioned that the flowers were delivered, but to the wrong address, thus the flowers remained outside in the cold all night until the neighbour found them this morning and delivered them to my friend, next door, 8 Swan Court, who was in at the time of delivery, had the delivery person delivered to 8 Swan Court in the first place.

I hope this explains the failings of the delivery person.

Subject: Delivery Issue with Recent Order

Dear Serenata Flowers Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with the recent delivery of my order. Unfortunately, the delivery was made to a neighbour's doorstep in error, and the delivery person did not alert the neighbour or make any attempt to deliver directly to the correct address.

My friend, the intended recipient, and her neighbour were both home at the time of delivery. The delivery was not attempted at her door, as confirmed by the Ring Video Doorbell footage, which shows no interaction with the intended address.

The flowers were only discovered by the neighbour this morning and were subsequently delivered to the correct address.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide a resolution. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

The flowers were old, soggy! I wish I could post a picture of these flowers here so you could see. I was already despondent about my order after being let down by their customer service when trying to rearrange the delivery. The lady who I spoke to did not want to help AT ALL. The worst experience!

If you buy flowers from Serenata expect you Youtube adds to be bombarded by Senenata Adds. I will never use them again. Also beware of not being charged weekly for flower deliveries.

Terrible flowers and customer service I would avoid. Plenty of other good suppliers out there.

Not only did they not send the flowers or chocolates to my mother, who had just received an awful diagnosis.... They sent just the "You deserve flowers card".

She thought that I was being sarcastic, and was upset, making the hardest day even harder.

Having looked at their reviews, I would of expected dead flowers, or just not delivering any any thing. But sending a card with my sentiments only is just cruel.

This is an awful company, don't risk it.

They seem to have staff that delight in making recipients miserable.

When you search for a local florist Serenata will likely come top on Google but don't be fooled, they're an online business based in Malta. They courier flowers out from distributors across Europe.

I ordered some flowers for my wife for our anniversary and they arrived damaged and in very poor general condition having spent all day in the back of a van. Florist vans are usually air conditioned, courier vans are not! The courier even pulled the box out of the van and tossed it in the air before handing it to me!

To add insult to injury, when your flowers dispatch you get an email telling you that they are being "chauffeured" - I'm not daft and didn't expect this but the manner in which they are actually sent takes the biscuit.

When I complained I was offered a 15% discount for one damaged rose and assured the remaining flowers would bloom within 48 hrs as they are in "bud form".

This is utter rubbish - most of the bouquet are cheap chrysanthemums (petrol station flowers) and all are in poor condition.

Save yourself half the money and all the hastle and go to your local florist, M&S or Waitrose instead.

Customer service insisted they were right and refused to refund me.

They look exactly like the photos on their website, which is fantastic! It's always a relief when what you get matches what you expect.

My son lives and works overseas and often sends flowers and I send photos in return. I sometimes have to be a little 'creative' to disguise broken stems and blooms damaged in transit. However, disguising flowers which are in such such poor condition, dead and dying, before being damaged further in transit is beyond me. There was some damage in transit but some flowers had leaves curling at the edges and petals turning brown and wilting. Also, the flowers had been standing in a 'gel pouch' which had been pierced by a stick whish was part of the packaging. The gel had leaked everywhere.

The box in which the flowers were delivered is marked 'this way up' which in this case should have been horizontal but they were left in my porch, whilst I was at home, with the box standing upright which left the flowers inside standing on their heads. That clearly didn't help the situation and certainly didn't help the flowers and 'greenery' which were already long past their best.

This situation can't be retrieved but I will have to disappoint my son by asking him not to use Serenata again.
