Taj Indian Restaurant, Ayrshire

Our First time and our last. We ordered 2 takeaway meals and were very disappointed. The popadoms and the nan bread were ok but the actual meals were terrible, Both meals although completely different looked identical and tasted rather bland for curries. Better Indian food is available at the Curry nights at the local pubs. Unlike Chinese meals where dishes are well presented, at the Taj, the rice and the dip was served in polythene bags. The cold onion dip in particular looked absolutely foul. This is one place I would NOT recommend. On speaking to a few locals the Taj used to be very good but has gone downhill in the last two years.
