Bad Santa Has A Brilliantly Stunning Performance F

Bad Santa has a brilliantly stunning performance from Billy Bob Thornton as an alcoholic shopping mall Santa Claus who swears and drinks his way through the film. His utter disregard for the people around him and his very un-Santa like behaviour make this film.

Willie (Santa) is a thief and safe breaker who together with his partner in crime travel from town to town robbing the local mall at Christmas by working as Santa and his elf assistant played by Tony Cox (Me, Myself and Irene). Along the way he cons a kid who at face value believes him to be the real Santa and invites him to his house, Willie intends to simply rob him but ends up going back and staying there. The scenes between "the kid" and Willie are my favourite bits. And the inevitable relationship that builds up between them leads to a little bit of humanity creaping into Willie's life. The ending is great.

Watch Bad Santa if you're fed up with the sugary sweet Christmas films and enjoy.

I Laughed Out Loud So Many Times But At The Same T

I laughed out loud so many times but at the same time, cringed at the perverseness of it. Billy Bob Thornton acted so much like someone who's main intake was alcohol (thin, tired and always angry) that I almost felt sorry for him apart from him being so hilariously nasty !! Really enjoyed this film, just wish I had seen it during the Christmas period, it would have lifted me above the commercial nightmare that it has become.

Bad Santa Is The Best Christmas Film I Have Ever S

Bad Santa is the best Christmas film I have ever seen in my life. Every year I tend to get a bit bored and tired of Christmas season being about 3 months long and having it all shoved down my throat, and I'm sure many people will sympathise. Enough cheese is enough.

So, it really is about time somebody made 1) a Christmas film for adults and 2) a Christmas film that is so wrong on so many levels.

The basic idea is that Billy Bob Thornton is a an alcoholic safecracker who works with a dwarf as a Santa and elf team. Every year they go to a new city, get a job in the local mall, and then on Christmas Eve break into the safe and rob the place blind. Billy's character then spends the next 10 1/2 months drinking the proceeds in Miami, chasing women and generally causing mayhem.

He goes with his partner to Phoenix where he meets a woman who has a Santa fetish and a young boy who thinks he's the real Santa Claus who has some social problems and lives in a very big, expensive house with his very senile grandmother.

To say much more would be to give too much away, but needless to say the film features Santa enjoying the company of large women -- loudly, and in public, vomiting, soiling himself, getting chased by police, and generally misbehaving.

The ending itself is far too cheesy, considering the nature of the main character, but the car chase and the immediate result of the car chase at the end are hilarious and worth the price of the ticket alone.

If you don't mind a bit of very black humour and a rather rude portrayal of the holiday icon of St. Nick, then go see Bad Santa. Just please don't take the kids....

Bad Santa Is The Best Comedy Of The Year. Billy Bo

Bad Santa is the best comedy of the year. Billy Bob executes the performance of a down and out safe cracker excellently. With his little sidekick they get on like chalk and cheese which adds to the humour. Bernie Mac rules and "the kid" mervin had me in stitches with his twisted mentality and love for sandwiches. will not see a better Christmas film. Go and see at all costs.
