Apex 8x6 Easy Shed

I have just had my Bewdley apex shed delivered and erected. I would just like you to know that I am very pleased with the building, and they are two very nice people who are very professional and friendly. would just like to let you know that you have two excellent people on you staff I can’t praise the two lads enough for the job they did, again thank you

The shed itself is absolutely great. The notifications for delivery were great. The fitting team were superstars. However there was a mix up on their website for some internal shelves I ordered. I thought I had ordered shelves going one way, and in fact they were horizontal. They had rung me up to confirm the order but never mentioned the shelves so this is what got delivered. They did offer to take the shelves back, but I suggested that they fit the shelves that were wrong and we reach acompromise. Instead I have been treated as if I am a criminal, telling me I am wrong, nothing to do with them and they treat me like an idiot. I have NEVER seen such arrogant or poor treatment with a problem with no flexibility. The answer they give is our system is right so go away. My recommendation - don't buy form them unless you are 100% certain. I am gutted as up to the last 30 seconds of install this was a great company, but their attitude to customers is TRULY AWFUL. Buy elsewhere is my suggestion as I feel for what could have been a very easy conversation they have made it as truly awful as they can - such a shame. Compromise is an art they completely lack when something small goes wrong. Perhaps they can learn from this. I hope so.

No complaints about the quality of the shed or the completed build. However, the two man team that completed the job helped themselves to my Makita cordless drill that was stowed in my other shed that backed onto the new one. As I have CCTV imagery of the culprit unlawfully entering my other shed, examining the contents and then opening the protective drill case, and discarding the documentation that came with the drill, I have reported the this to Hampshire Police and have a crime reference number and also to Hampshire Trading Standards. Just be warned, that despite treating workmen well that appear on your doorstep from an otherwise reputable company, that the smile and cheerful demeanour of any unknown individual, can hide a criminal with a kleptomaniac tendencies. Shame!!

Terrible product, poor communication and aftercare was non- existent. They damaged my property on delivery and shed is now bowed and leaking. They are not interested once they have your money.

I wanted 2 sheds , one small shed for tools and another quite large as a gym / training room

However I didnt want to risk £4k on a large shed without seeing one so I went for the smaller first , bearing in mind it could have been as cheap as £400 at BnQ . I went with Easyshed and ordered the beast with Onduline roof £1400

the shed arrived as stated 2 weeks or so later .. however as it was december it was completely pitch black at the time they arrived . They turned up with no lights ,luckily I had put out some bright security lighting for them and they set to work

the shed is great , nice and strong looks well built , but there are a few little points that let it down such as the cheap perspex windows that are just held in with some thin wood . the onduline roof doesnt reach past the front of the pent so the rain runs straight onto the timber and the front fascia has a small gap either side - that might be by design but looks odd

the guys were great and explained it was the 5th shed of the day - not what I wanted to hear after spending £1400 ! .however they seemed to take care with everything that they did . although finished with a few silly lines of sales pitch about how good they are and never rush ,never do bad jobs etc etc - probably not their fault just bad company training

up until that point I thought they were really good

I never got a follow up call or email to ask how the shed is and so the £4k gym shed will probably be bought elsewhere

If you book for AM delivery, just want a strong shed and not too fussed about the little details then they are perfect

I'm very happy with my shed. A very good product from a very professional company. Brilliant communication throughout back by an extremely helpful delivery/ installation team. The shed I bought is a 12x8ft apex roofed model. The build quality and material quality is tremendous, I would have no hesitation in recommending easyshed to anyone looking for a high quality product (you get what you pay for). You will not be disappointed with easyshed.

I received two sheds from Easysheds on Friday 27th July 2012. I had to erect myself as Cornwall is out of their delivery area (perfectly alright as I wanted to erect it myself with my builder). End panel on one was severely bowed leaving a gap of one inch along middle top of wall. I was surprised as I presumed it was made up on a jig but the tongue and groove and two centre framing uprights were cut to accomodate the bow. I provided two photos to show the problem making use of a long spirit level to show that the roof was straight but end panel dipped in the middle. On complaining I was first told to put weight on roof to take up the dip in the end panel, infuriating to be asked to accept my roof now should have a dip in it. Further emails and only response was "it was alright when it left us" or "wood is a natural product and is prone to shrinking" (I pointed out that presumably then the tongue and groove and incredibly the two lengths of framing shrunk in length by over an inch). Incidentally the sheds were stored flat for 4 days before we started to erect them. " you must have stored them incorrectly" and on and on and on.

Both sheds were security sheds and of generally poor quality and finish. So I ask others to be very careful and perhaps (if you are going to take a chance with this company)take the option to pay on delivery to give you the opportunity to carefully check it before paying.

Beware of Easysheds for it seems their customer service only knows one reponse "its not our fault"

Summary: Not usually disappointed by internet shopping but be aware of Easysheds if things go wrong

i found that taking up the cash on delivery option was the best bet, as you never know what you can get off the internet, however i was very pleased with the whole experience, with easyshed a fine shed with no spring in the floor, and very good height compared to the ones i have seen in the local garden center, and then they fit the shed together, i then paid by card over the phone. you do not get companys like easyshed who are willing to put trust in the customer, i would recommend easyshed
