Mongoose Menace

The menace is a good bmx bike, just a few problems that can bring your bmx enthusiasm down: The left crank screw keeps on coming loos; the crank bearings doesn't last more than 2months; front breaks is very poor; rear end can be realy eavy? but other than that its one of the best bmx bikes from mongoose that i have had yet. ;) lil D

The Mongoose Menace bike has a strong frame. bars and forks are nice fairly light good tyres. wheels are ok if your not to heavy on them. Great bike for begginers or pros. not too heavy. price is a bit steep. good for stunts and a great everyday bike in all weather. The innertubes are bad. Back wheel nuts are bad keeps moving forward so getting loose. Chain doesnt come with pegs. Brakes are poor.

The mongoose Menace is a good starter for street bmxers. I think its kind of poor on ramps or flatland though. Its pretty heavy but usable on dirt, this BMX is pretty durable and can take a beating as well.

In all i did like the bike but its just the colour and the fact that grinding it broke the back axle let me down, had to get a replacement wheel n it cosrt me £199. The Mongoose Menace is strong, it can really take a beating and is good for tracks.

The crank arm on mine kept loosening and the back feel feels very easy to break. Im not too keen on the colour scheme either.

Has lasted me five years and is still going strong. I recommend this bike for all ages and for people with any kind of interest in bikes, whether its for stunt BMXing , everyday bike rides or even just to show off.

Highly recommended for all ages and all uses, whether you want it for every day ride around or for all levels of stunt BMXing. I mainly used it for many advanced tricks and it is still going, but i have also used it for everyday bike rides and other stuff.
