I Am 5'10 And Don't Mind The Stride Length. With

I am 5'10 and don't mind the stride length. With any elliptical you should try it out prior to buying. I tried over 10 different elliptical's and found this one to be the smoothest and most natural feeling for me. I got this on sale and was within my budget. I have had it for 2 months now and am still quite happy with it.

I Find The Kettler Mondeo Very Uncomfortable To Us

I find the Kettler Mondeo very uncomfortable to use for any length of time. The stride is short (16 inches) and bouncy. The non-articulating pedals will put your feet to sleep after a little more than 30 minutes of use. The computer console has no backlighting, making it difficult to read in dim light and the computer is very unintuitive. The computer console instruction manual is very poorly written and instructions are incomplete and difficult to understand. This is a rather antiquated machine that is way overpriced. I would not recommend this machine for anyone over 5 feet, 3 inches tall.

I Am Only 5'8" And Am Very Uncomfortable On This M

I am only 5'8" and am very uncomfortable on this machine with its short 16-inch stride. The flywheel has a very large diameter, which causes the skis to slant down at a very steep angle, putting pressure on the lower back, knees, and hips. There is tremendous vertical motion in the elliptical cycle, providing for a very bouncy and unnatural stride. The LCD display is difficult to read in ambient light because there is no backlighting. The computer console is also very unintuitive to operate. If you are over 5'3" and want to avoid hip, lower-back, and knee problems, do not buy this machine.

I Like What Kettler Stand For And German Build Is

I like what kettler stand for and German build is always going to be good. The aftersales service is great too if you ever need it. You may think you can get one from Argos for '£300 but believe me you are wasting your money - the quality of these machines is not great and will not withstand the test of time.

I Would Reccomend The Mondeo St Without A Second T

I would reccomend the Mondeo ST without a second thought, and is certainly big enough for me (Just). I am 6'1", 115Kg and 50" chest, but don't feel awkward like I did on some of the cheaper machines or competitors.

Looks wise this machine rocks, as for once a company has put a bit of style into a home exercise machine.

My wife uses it a lot as well, and she's only 5'2" tall. If she needs to she can adjust the foot plates, but usually doesn't bother. The elliptical action is precise and the stride is longer than some other machines I tried.

The maximum resistance is more than enough for me, and I'm not short of strength, but those that are a stronger, and fitter may want more. If they do they can just pay the extra for the next machine up in the range the CTR3 which has an eddy current braking system. It is essentially the same machine with extra features for an extra '£150.00.

The display is good too, shows all the information clearly, and has enough programs to keep me happy. The handle bars are better placed than on other machines I tried, and space wise it doesn't take up too much room needing 1.5m x 0.5m to operate in.
