When It Works It Is, In Theory, Quite Accurate As
When it works it is, in theory, quite accurate as it uses GPS technology. Its just not ready to be a watch yet, in my opinion - they need to get the technology smaller and working better before they launch this sort of productHaving a GPS watch in principle is great, but it constantly seems to lose signal so it essentially just guesses how far you've run - not very usefulThe Polar watches are much better - they dont use GPS technology instead they use some sort of movement sensor.I find the Polar watches much more accurate, less bulky and generally better put together (hardware and software)

The Garmin Forerunner 305 Is An Excellent Gadget F
The Garmin Forerunner 305 is an excellent gadget for running and biking - the basics like distance run and ave speed / max speed are great to have. I even used it for skiing recently. The heart rate monitor also works well, unlike other cheaper gadgets I have used in the past.
The bad points seem to be addressed by the new 405, but overall these are not enough of an issue for me to ugrade from a basically very good product.
