I Just Bought The Skates A Few Weekds Ago And Have
I just bought the skates a few weekds ago and have no complaints. They are 10x's better thatn my old CCM's. They are very light and have good control. I only spent $180 on mine and think ther are a great bang for the buck. My buddy spent twice as much on some CCM's and his feet are killing him. This is a strong buy in my book.

Best Competitive Hockey Skates Made Since The Baue
Best Competitive Hockey Skates made since the bauer Air 90's. Would not own any other pair of skates especially not these new skates that are about 90% plastic.

Whoever Said These Are For Non-competitive Use Onl
Whoever said these are for non-competitive use only is 100% wrong. These were top of the line skates a few years ago and still are great skates.
I have been using mine for 2 and a half seasons of Jr hockey and they are holding up fairly well.
Although the front left rivets on the right skate came un-done twice, but repaired twice and are fine now.... I had to replace the blades on them once and the fabric on both toes are completely mangled.
I'm looking for a pair of XXXX's now.

I love this skate however I hate the fact that the blade has broken twice in normal use. I was fortunate that it happenned at practice and not during a game.

I Have Owned A Pair Of Bauer Vapor Xx For The Last
I have owned a pair of Bauer Vapor XX for the last hockey season, and other than price I cannot fault them. They have great ankle support, and are very comfortable. The light-speed blade is just amazing to skate in, it is this best blade in the world, and is only equaled by the latest graf blade. Also these skates are very strong, I have been hit by a puck many times in the ankle and yet these skates are still in shape, and my ankle is not broken (yet!).
Some people think these skates just fall apart in a matter of months, I guess if you were a pro and you skated twice a day, every day, this might be true, but if you are a pro then you get your skates free anyway. I skate 5 times a week at public sessions, and play hockey at a competitive level 2 times a week and their still no where near falling apart.
The best thing about these skates, other than comfort, strength, and ankle support, is the weight. These skates are incredably light, the only skate to get anywere near them are the CCM ZG130 (Vector pro's with T-Blades), which have T-blades and are therefor not really suitable for hockey, because the blade holder is so weak.
Overall I give these skates a 10 out of 10, they are the best skates I have ever have.
