I've Been Skating About 5 Times A Week For 6 Month

I've been skating about 5 times a week for 6 months in them without any problems at all. Blade stays sharp for a long time. Have landed badly a lot times and am sure that with cheaper skates that are less supportive i would have needed some hospital trips. Great skates

The Ccm Vector 3.0 Ice Stakes Are Excellent Value

The CCM Vector 3.0 Ice stakes are excellent value for money, look really stylish and are great for beginners. The rub a bit whilst your wearing them in but that doesnt take too long.

I Bought My Ccm Vectors At Sportchek For $99.99 Ca

I bought my CCM Vectors at Sportchek for $99.99 Canadian. They looked cool and hade a lace lock that enables you to have different lace tension for your ankle and foot. They took a couple games to break in, after that they felt pretty good, and preformed well.

Then the trouble started, during practice a grommet pulled out ripping the boot of the skate. I thought this was a manufacturing anomaly until it happened two more times. Each time I returned the skates they lasted between one and five games then failed in the same way. Sportchek was good about the returns and when I asked gave me all my money back to put towards my CCM 952s, great skate by the way.

I would not say CCM has stopped making good skates just that Vector 3.0 are not one of them. The salesman at Sportchek did say that they are an entry-level skate and because I'm 6'5" 250 lbs and play on an Army team I may have been to hard on them. I personally think a $100 pair of skates should be able to take what ever I can through at them.
