The style of Globe Chet IVs is awesome, comfort is great as the tongue is attached to the sides of the shoe, so it doesnt move around. hard wearing.. i get through a pair about once every 2 or 3 years and i live in them!!

The heels wear out fairly quickly, but are not uncomfortable.. depends on how you wear them i guess.

overall i havent found a better pair of skate shoes. these are awesome in all ways - design, colours, looks, comfort, reliability... hence, 6 years on, i am about to hunt down another replacement pair..!!

This shoe raised the bar when it came down to making a skating shoe that suited every skaters needs. The shoe was durable, comfortable, and good looking. Best shoes ever! comfortable, durable and extremely good grip when it comes down to flip tricks. This shoe is was made to flip kickflips with ease. They are pretty hard to come by.

I like those shoes. They are really comfortable and are awesome, they only problem is that they are too high.

Please start making them again!!!! (if anyone reading this owns a shoe co, copy these)!

I saw the Globe Chet IV on sale in my local skateshop and brought them. I was very disappointed. They were stiff, had almost no board feel, and I became crap because I couldn't do any good tricks in them. They last ages though, even though I haven't skated them much, instead I went to one of my favourite shoes of all time. The es accelerate! When I compare my globes to these, it makes my realise how old shoes are poor compared to the shoes of today.

Ok, first the bad. When I put on my CT-IVs for the first time, I was shocked by how stiff they were. Seriously, like a big old piece of plywood. Took a little bit of breaking-in. The toe gets ripped up pretty easy too.

But, they are definitely the comfiest shoes ever. They're built like a sock (think Osiris Datz), you don't even need the laces to hold them on. Sooo comfortable though. Like putting your feet into big old marshmallows - fees goooood. Nice and bulky too - look great coming out of the bottom of a pair of cargos.

If you never have used these shoes thier the best thing you can get if you want comfort and get good skating out of them and no I'm not joking

These Globe Chet IV Skate shoes rule. there are no hidden laces - so the shoe laces get sawed up after a few hours of hopping around. but, the shoe's are like a big sock so you don't need laces. i guess it's all good.

The Globe Chet IV are nice too skate but, nearly no board feel, £85! (about $130), rubbish toe armour my flips killed em in a month, ok ollie armour not brilliant, weak as anything soles. But soo damn comfortable!! no ankle support i broke my ankle, fs flipping a 8 set, but don't think the shoes will help there.

only lasted a month, not impressed for the price...
