Bad Management Poorly Run Company
I would not use heatteam or baxi their customer service is poor and unreliable. It's a very badly run and badly organised company which is down to poor management. Beware when you call them they make money from the call as they use a premium rate number. I will not use this company and will avoid.
Useless Service
Heateam were completely unable to fulfill their service agreement for a yearly service had no option but to cancel so that I could get my boiler serviced on time AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Avoid At All Costs - Unprofessional Awful Company
I had a leak from my boiler from the pump and went through Heateam as they were the recommended service company by boiler manufacturer (Potterton).
It should have been a simple 1 visit to fix it but instead took 6 visits due to the incompetence of the engineers.
1st visit engineer said he didn't have the part required and would order the part needed.
2nd visit says wrong part had come so would have to come back.
3rd visit he said he sorted the problem but then that evening the boiler stopped working and no heating.
4th visit guy says boiler stopped working as previous engineer left water in some part which blew it. Engineer leaves says is all working and also recommends I get my radiators cleaned to get better heating, I found this strange as my radiators were working fine before he came over.
The following day I go to put on heating and again not working.
5th visit he comes (a different engineer) says the previous engineer turned the heating down on the boiler so thats why wasnt working, he says he sorted it but then that evening it stops working again.
6th visit and they finally sort it and it's left working.
Seems their engineers don't have a clue what they are doing, their customer service centre is useless and unhelpful.
I'm have to pay £300 for their service plan which is a ripp off and I really regret signing up for it.
I looked to see if they were on checkatrade and it's no surprise to see they're not.
If I had seen the other reviews here I would have never gone with them.
Avoid this company at all costs
I was left without heating for the whole of Xmas which was a nightmare
check a trade is bad anyway as for the boiler problem what model was the potterton boiler ???

Poor Customer Service
Having experienced problems with a lack of heat to several radiators in my rented accommodation, my landlord instructed Heateam to send an engineer. Unfortunately the engineer not only failed to rectify the problem, but compounded it by leaving me with no hot water. A further appointment was arranged for 2 days later but on this occasion the engineer called to say that he was unable to park nearby and promptly disappeared. Although there is permit parking in the immediate vicinity, there is plenty of free/limited parking nearby. Clearly the engineer was deterred by the poor weather at the time. I now have to wait another 24 hours for a further visit and who knows what will happen if s/he can't park outside the property. Since when has it been the responsibility of the customer to provide parking? In over 60 years I cannot recall a case of such bad customer service and, based on my experience, would advise anyone to avoid this company.
parking well i know myself depends on area and if you have a permit parking surgest you supply to help the engineer out??
who wants to walk miles back and forth for parts ?
Appalling Service, Misdiagnosis Of Faults, Took A Year
It took a year and number of visits of different engineers, with different diagnosis , lengthy phone calls, leaking boiler, bookings for engineer took two to three weeks even though i had health problems. let me with no heating and hot water over christmas and new year. It cost me a lot in phone calls and other tradesmen to give me their professional service which the engineers made me feel was the fault like my wiring.
I was on/off without heating and hot water over a year and they did not send a senior engineer around as promised and made me wait for three weeks in the cold freezing weather.
Replacement Only - Left With £700 Bill
We have a Pullin Evolution 300. It was put in about 12 months ago, and although we hadn't noticed anything until stains started to appear on the kitchen ceiling below the airing cupboard, it has apparently been leaking for some time.
We called Heateam who it was under warranty with, who promised a engineer a few days later. No engineer arrived depite me having adya off work to wait for him. Neither did the next one they promised. Finally one did arrive (who was exceptionally professional I hasten to add) who diagnosed a manufacturer fault. He told me that first the boiler would come, then a 2 man team would come to fit it.
A week later a boiler arrived. With no news of fitters I called Heateam. They first said they would arrange a team to come, then, after a week or so of silence suddenly informed me that it was "supply only" and I had to pay to get it fitted myself. A 300l boiler is now stuck in my living room and I have been quoted £700 to fit it.
Poor disorganised service. AVOID HEATEAM AT ALL COSTS!
dont even know what the above boiler i take it is sounds like a car??
Awful Customer Service
booked an appointment but they cancelled the day before then tried to reschedule and they said they could come out for another week despite being on year long warranty. they were useless.
and what was the problem??
Heateam Excessive Charges
HEATEAM carried out an annual service on my hotwater system which I paid for in advance. The service engineer was great, polte and efficient and in less than 30mins had checked out the system. I had paid £169 for this cursory check and in my book the excessive. At over £300 an hour thats way to much. I will defo be looking for a local independant company next time and won't be giving my hard earned cash to HEATEAM.
Terrible Customer Service
My Baxi Duotec boiler has been playing up again and typically it is now out of warranty. I have had quite a few problems with it so decided to sign up for the Repair and Protect plan a £28.75 per month (£345 for the year).
This seemed expensive, but balanced against promise of a service engineer coming out the next day justified it.
I booked in an appointment between 8am and 5pm and received a confirmation text that engineer would call in morning with more exact time. Next morning I took the day off work to wait for the engineer. By 1pm I had heard nothing so called Heatteam. I was told engineer was on another job, but would arrive between 4pm and 6pm. This time passed and still nothing.
At 7.59pm I got a message from the engineer saying that he wouldn't be turning up as he was now "too tired".
Next I got an automated text asking me to rate their engineer's visit.
The customer service number is never answered and the many messages I have left on it have so far not been responded too.
All in all, it is a terrible service at an expensive price.
All I can say is you was lucky he was only tired my engineer went on holiday with the part for my boiler and I have to wait till he comes back off his holiday not say he dose not deserve his long awaited holiday. Customer service knew this when I was calling to find out when the engineer was coming to fix the boiler only found out from my insurance company. Hope this make you feel a bit better. 0nly good thing is that it not winter.

Well Done Heateam! My Boiler Is Now Working!
My Remeha boiler was leaking from the base of the boiler, and water was running down the condensate pipe. I went on the internet to find an affordable boiler repair service, and all that appeared to show was British Gas (BG) services and their Homecare service. I did read some negative reviews on the forums about BG, but decided to give them a go. I contacted BG and after being on the phone for a while, I decided to sign up to their Homecare 200 service, where you pay a one off fee of £99 and the 12 monthly instalments. BG were so convincing about repairing any job and any boiler. BG came out the next day as agreed and within the timeslot given. The Engineer turned up, went into my kitchen, removed the boiler cover, looked at my boiler and then said it is condemned, because of some minor erosion at the base of the boiler. He completed some paperwork, turned off the gas supply and removed the fuse and placed an 'at risk' label to my boiler. He also offered to provide a quote for a new boiler. I couldn't believe this, so I showed him out of my home, and decided to obtain two more quotes. A local central heating Engineer looked at my boiler and he could not understand why it was condemned. It was evident that there is a leak, but stated that the heating exchange may need replacing as a worst case scenario. I then contacted Heateam, they came out as agreed, diagnosed the problem and started the repairs straightaway. I felt the customer service was very good and you are kept informed. The Engineer had to make two visits, but rectified the problem by changing the heat exchange and explained the cause of the leak. The Engineer was pleasant and I felt confident that he could do the job. I am now on a 12 month Repair and Protect Plan with Heateam, so in the event that anything goes wrong they will come out to rectify the problem. BG make promises but they are not equipped to deal with any problem, and they are too quick to condemn boilers causing customers distress. A tip is to always get another opinion, and obtain a few quotes.
