THE CAB DRIVER OVERCHARGED ME!

The flat fare was clearly stated on the sign, but he still overcharged and took me for a ride to milk the fare. When i asked again about the Flat Rate, he said "only applies if there is no traffic." 10:30pm LA there was no traffic. He was a foreign driver, maybe in Russia there is a different standard.

when i told him the direct way to get to my destination, he claimed that the traffic was heavy, 10:30 pm in downtown LA!

I will never take Checker Cab Co. ever again!

If you see the Checker Cab RUN AWAY!

I placed a complaint that evening, I was told that a supervisor would call me back the next day. NO CALL, I called back the following day left a message with my call back number, yet no response.

Management is weak for not getting back to me. At least I should have gotten a call back and apology!

I booked my taxi online. I was surprised that my cab showed up few minutes later. WOW! Cool service!

My was also surprised to see a hybrid taxi pull up.

All satisfied. Would recommend.
