Khyam Ontario 8 Tent

The Kyham Ontario 8 is a great value tent that is easy to erect and can weather the worst rain in the English countryside. Our family consists of 2 adults and 2 small boys although we have fitted 4 adults and 4 small children over a long weekend, however, this was snug considering we also fitted in a cooker, a table and 3 side tables in at the same time!

We have been on 3 two week breaks over the past few years and also had the odd long weekend away and this tent has been great. Apart from one pole breaking (replacement £2) nothing else has gone wrong or broken.

It takes 2 people to erect although I have put it up by myself once. Erection takes about 20 minutes and is made easier if you purchase the floor plan groundsheet so you know where it's all going.

There are 3 compartments (2 one end, one the other) and a central living area. Two large side doors mean access is easy.

We are considering buying the sun porch which will help out in the rain as you do get dripped on when leaving and entering due to the tunnel shape. Also, during the height of summer the tent does get very hot so we hope that this extra protection (and room will help).

Overall, a great tent and well recommended.

Had this tent for over 3 years now, we have done 3, 2 week family holidays plus weekends away and the tent has been great. Looads of room for 2 adults and 2 toddlers.The large double bedroom is great for us meaning we can all sleep in 1 room, we use another bedroom for storage and changing.The living areas easily allows for full camp kitchen and table and chairs.Doors are at both sides of tent so doesn't matter which way round you pitch it. Me and misses can put up in 20-30 mins.We've had 1 split pole in 3 years.For the price i think this tent would be hard to beat.

The Khyam Ontario 8 Tent is a good sized tent we had 4 Adults and 0ne child in tent so plenty of bed and storage space. But be warned you need extra ties and decent pegs to keep this stable in windy condition
