I've Had The 2007 Model Xxl From New And It's Had

I've had the 2007 model XXL from new and it's had quite alot of use in the last few years. We love this tent as it's soo big and fairly easy to put up for it's size!!. My only grumble is that you have to erect the inner section first, which is a pain if it's raining.

We also have the Hartford Canopy which is great for the extra little bit of space.

Had Hartford Xxl For 3 Years And Camped At Least 1

Had Hartford XXL for 3 years and camped at least 10 times in it. Including 2 occasions of 2 weeks in v windy wet weather summer 2007&8. 3 children 2 adults, loads of space. A bedroom fits a double airbed, or 2xsgl camp beds or even a standard travel cot. V easy to put up and down and packs v well for size. Never had any leaks or pole breakages. Have addn canopy, this suffered from a little disfiguration of end pole when left up in heavy wind but no effect on overall use. Canopy is v useful- fits fold up table for 4 at 1 side and full kitchen inc storage shelf & gas fridge at other, with plenty of floor/walk space between.tent has accom 6 adults & 4 kids on occns, we love it.

This Outwell Hartford Xxl Is A Massive Tent Which

This Outwell Hartford XXL is a massive tent which is very well made and has stood up to really heavy rain.

The only problem i have is that even with a moderate breeze the poles break very easily during pitching. The poles do not seem to be any where near the quality of the older model

The Outwell Hartford Xxl Is A Great Big Tent. Very

The Outwell Hartford XXL is a great big tent. Very waterproof so far (3 uses) and durable. Loads of space and 4 decent sized pods to sleep in. Bit of a pig to put up and zillions of pegs to hammer in. Bit of a chore to take down, especially if windy - the canvas area is massive - you can get blown away with it. Only paid £299 for it brand new and I think that's brilliant value.

I Bought A Outwell Hartford Xxl Tent As I Wanted F

I bought a Outwell Hartford XXL tent as i wanted fibre glass poles not the aluminum one, i am very pleased with it.

its is easy to put up for a tent of its size.

i bought it from newquay camping and leisure over the phone for a great price, after finding it on the web, the staff were great and really helpful.

I Have The Outwell Hartford Xxl Version (2007 Twin

I have the Outwell Hartford xxl version (2007 twined skinned), We`ve been camping a few times in both sunny weather and very bad weather heavy rain and 30 mph wind`s with gusts up to 56mph and the tent still remained up no leaks at all , we had the optional canopy fitted as well ,which we did remove after the weather warning it certainly also help`s if you have storm peg`s a must in wet ands windy weather as the standard peg`s can be ripped out of the ground

the tent is very roomy ,with plenty of space thoughout .

2 bags which house the tent and the poles these`s are a little heavy, As for setting up the tent its pretty easy with 2 people but if it`s a windy day a third person is a really big help.

there is plenty of ventalation thoughout the tent which is a great bonus in the summer

I fully recommend this tend to others having had lots of tends before ,im 100% happy am i would class myself as a very fussy person ,hope this has answered some of your question`s and querys,cheer`s...

The Outwell Hartford Xxl Tent Is Brilliant. We Hav

The Outwell Hartford XXL tent is brilliant. We have 2 kids and a dog, you have loads of space when needed in bad weather, its warm, and cosy.

Last year we camped with a group of friends, in total there were 10 adults, 6 kids and 2 dogs and we managed to sit round a table with a few bottles of wine whilst outside the weather was awful, wet and gale force winds, "typical camping weather!" its great,

The only thing I would say is always carry plenty of spare pole elastic as they do seem to be a bit weak! also the back door on ours did leak at the bottom a few times in really bad storms, but we just bought some long strips of velcro and fitted it,! sorted! and it only cost pence, we would highly recommend this tent.

We Went Camping For The First Time With Our Kids (

We went camping for the first time with our kids (2 and 1 year old) and it was great. Plenty of space, great in the rain. This year we'll buy the extension and the groundsheet for winter camping, but this isn't needed at all.
