We Have Just Returned From Our First Family Campli
We have just returned from our first family campling holiday in a Skandika Nimbus II thent bought from ebay second hand. There are 7 of us from 2yrs to 35 (2 adults, 5 kids) so this tent was great for the size. Plenty of linving space and rooms big enough for us all. We had rain and the tent leaked in the middle due to having the lantern hanging and pulling the roof down, once moved then fine. If the groundsheet could be attached to the fly sheet then this tent would be perfect. Overall a great tent for the money.

Just Returned From Our First Weekend Camping With
Just returned from our first weekend camping with the Skandika Nimbus II tent.Despite its size was straightforward to erect (though the instructions are a bit vague) and provided us with plenty of space and comfort. The weather was good so can't speak for it's ability to keep us dry but felt it's 5000m water column would provide the right protection if the weather got worse. Having just purchased this wanted to trial it out before our main summer camping trip to Cornwall. We did have a small problem with the main door zip being very tight to close but it didn't break (unlike our previous tent!!!)and was rectified by repositioning the front poles. All in all very pleased.
I found this review very helpful because it enabled me to purchase the same tent, I wasnt dissapointed..many thanks

Large living area. You can remove the complete front wall. The side walls are nearly vertical giving a feeling of more space. Very sturdy. Quick to erect. Large bedroom areas. The flysheet is quite far off the ground, driving rain can tend to enter the tent. This can be rectified by turning a ground sheet up at the edges. We have used this tent, the Skandika Nimbus 12 several times and would find it difficult to replace it as there are no other tents that offer such a good balance between space and ease of erection.

We had a great holiday in Biscarosse (FR.) whith this tent (4 pers.). Although it rained often, we never had problems and could stay inside when necessary. The living space is big enough for 8 people to eat or play games,...

We've Had Ours For Three Years Now And It's Still
We've had ours for three years now and it's still going strong. I personally can highly recommend this tent if you want a tent to accommodate yourself, a lot of equipment and several friends. Love it. Very roomy, usually becomes the entertainment centre on the camping field as everyone comes and fits into ours. You really can sleep many more than 12 in this tent. It's withstood the highest winds and rain storms, being out on the top of a very high and exposed hill in Exmoor and in the windiest weather - 80mph gusts at Cirencester.

Our Skandika Nimbus Collapsed During Our First Nig
Our Skandika Nimbus collapsed during our first night on the camping. Not enough slant for the rain to run off.
It ruined our camping trip.

The Skandika Nimbus 12 was a huge and pointless waste of money, currently sending it back to the manufacturers.
I found this review helpful as it was honest
