I Have Just Purchased My Vulcan 600 Second Hand, H

I have just purchased my Vulcan 600 second hand, however they can still be bought new for around £180 (even though they are discontinued). I was initially looking for an 8 berth tent as we are a growing family of 5, however when I saw how spacious the Vulcan 600 was I bought it straight away, it has 2x3 bedroom compartments that attach to the inside of outer skin once assembled, which isn't as difficult as it seems, it took me just over an hour on my own first time, so i reckon 2 people could mange it in around 40 minutes. There is a decent sized living area in the tent though i decided that I would increase this by leaving out one of the bedrooms, this made more space for a table and chairs which were easily folded down at night to sleep my wife and I quite comfortably whilst the children slept in the pod. the ground sheet of the tent is fully sewn in which made the tent relatively draft free (the only drafts that I noticed were from the ample air vents). It rained quite a bit during our time however the tent didnt leak a bit, it was also quite windy and the tent remained solid. The only negative that I can think of at the minute, is that there arent enough pegging loops around the front of the groundsheet, which means the wind blows under it and lifts it a bit, I have ordered the carpet for it off ebay for £26 delivered and an inflatable sofa, so next time the extra weight on the groundsheet should rectify this minor problem. A very happy camper.
