We Purchased Our Diablo 900 2nd Hand After A One U

We purchased our Diablo 900 2nd hand after a one user 2 years ago. Stupidly we watched the DVD instructions and figured we would be fine. DO NO MAKE THIS MISTAKE!!!! Have a practice first in a BIG back garden. My wife and I can now throw it up in about 25 mins, but it isn`t the easiest tent to errect. One tip if you have the 2 door version is to get the porch door where you want it before pegging down. Once up it is awesome and the interior space is great especially in wet weather.

We were in a massive storm in Devon last year and it was brilliant, when other tents literally blew away!! All in all great tent.

Hi I Have Used The Xp 400 For A Number Of Years. I

Hi I have used the xp 400 for a number of years. Is it quality? 100% yes.

Has it ever leaked? not ever and I camp march to october. It is spacious, durable when in use BUT and its a big BUT. It is about as difficult to errect as anything I have ever used. The problem is the sleves that the poles go through. The poles snag and snag they are just too long and by the time you have 4 poles and you are putting in the 5th.You are bending and straining the materials.we habve ued this tent 5 to 7 times a year for 3 years. I am replacing it this year as its damaged. Not the tents fault. My stupidity. I of course imediatly went back to vango.I almost replaced it until I saw the outwell hartford range.same build quality.A little more expencive. I shopped around and saved £150 off rrp so £350. It goes up much much easier. Short pole sleaves and it erects fly first. Also interior accom is already attached.WOW. Simple I know butwhat a differance. It takes it from a tent that you will spend the time to set up for a long weekend minimum to an quick over night.

Took This Tent All The Way To Aus After Owning And

Took this tent all the way to Aus after owning and camping in it 4 or 5 times in the UK, in a weekend of strong winds and rain 2 of the poles snapped and ripped through both the inner pole sheath (needed for the stability/rigidity of the tent) and then also wore through the outer. The poles need vastly improving, possibly durawrap, but this could make them too heavy. A shame as we love the tent to bits due to its size. Some uk sites won't accept it due to its footprint size

The Diablo 900 Is An Awesome Tent. Huge Space And

The Diablo 900 is an awesome tent. Huge space and will keep you dry no matter what the weather. Ours has been battered by winds and rain when other tents literally blew away. It is great for longer trips. Tricky to put up in heavy wind but if you have three people(2 adults and a child) you will manage it. Great comfort and its worth the extra for the extension canopy over the doorway which is a great place to house the cooker giving even more space to the impressive interior. The pods are airy and the central area is enormous. It is a big tent so check with your campsite about size as we found one site that would not take it as it was too big for the electric pitches!

This Is Our 5th Year Using This Tent For 2-3 Week

This is our 5th year using this tent for 2-3 week holidays and on short breaks. It has been baked in Spain and battered in 50mph winds in Dorset and is still in good condition. Once familiar with the process it can be erected by an adult and older child, even the 900! The inside space is invaluable non rainy days and for longer holidays there is ample storage space for a family of 5. Excellent value for money

This Is A Spacious Tent That Accomodated 12-15peop

this is a spacious tent that accomodated 12-15people in the communal area on rainy days. For it's size it packs quite small compared to others. I'm not a fan of inner tent first erection but i knew that before i bought. you'll need at least three people on a windy day to get the shell over the inner tent but i reckon that's the case with any other large tent. Definately recommend it, if it's still on the market

The Vango Diablo 900 What An Amazing Tent Easy To

The Vango diablo 900 what an amazing tent easy to erect very large and spacious and yet so easy to erect I can only think the previous reviewer did not have a 900 as they are a 9 man tent infatc you could fit another 4 in the middle takes us 20-30 mins max to erect as is double skinned but that adds to the durability and protection from the elements WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT A LARGE EASY TO ERECT AND DURABLE TENT

We Bought Our Vango Diablo 600 Almost 4 Years Ago,

We bought our Vango Diablo 600 almost 4 years ago, and have used it about 10 times. I must agree it is one of the hardest tents to erect despite doing so by the two of us.

The positive side to it thought is, it's quite roomy, fantastic entrance which we use as our kitchen area, ideal if you have young children in terms of the space/safety it offers.

The negative sides are, the poles do not last as long - ie, splits, crack, bends. The pole sleeves are not of a toughened/durable material hence we've had to repair a couple of rips so far. If the tent is not erected on even flat surface it could get damaged, compartments will not zip up etc.

Overall, it is a very nice tent, brilliant for families or large groups better still for enthusiasts who loves a challenge.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GROWLY TIRED PARENTS WITH SCREAMING KIDS IN THE CAR AFTER A LONG JOURNEY!

Q&A

HollySD

I have an old Vango Diablo 900 second hand. I have to repair the central poles, but not sure what the length of each of the pole types should be - does anyone have an original set and could tell me the 2 black and 1 x blue dome poles and 3 x grey bedroom pole lengths are? There are no measurements anywhere to be found and vango have no original plans left, but no pole lengths on the plans anyway.
