Woolacombe Bay Holiday Village, Woolacombe

Agree with the Jan 2010 Review. Stayed here last Aug/September. Caravan was dirty, matresses and duvet's worn out. We had to go to Asda @ Atlantic Village to get bedding.

Food basic,tasteless and not particularly cheap. No real ale and staff didn't even know what it was. Park had lots of awards on the wall outside reception. None were recent though and they must have been living on their laurels for years. If the weather is bad there is only the pool (small and crowded) unless you want to feed the machines all day. Won't be returning, hiring a cottage in Cornwall for half the money this year.

we would normally give 5* rating for this park as we have gone back for 11 years,we have always stayed in the caravans and thay have been clean and well equipped any minor problems have been quickly sorted.exellent staff and parks.THIS TIME we stayed in the rose villa apartments,2 matresses were badly stained/dirty (lucky only 4 of us not 6)the place was dated the sofa well worn and paper peeling.was very disapointed with the apartment.make sure we stayed in a caravan next time !!!!! lovely area,beach

Do not, whatever you do, stay here!! The caravans are filthy, the staff rude and unhelpful, the beer extortionate and no disabled facilities to the pool area and restaurant.

I had the remainder of the previous occupants food on the oven dishes, the fridge door was broken and when moving a bed to accomodate a travel cot it was clear that the caravan had not been cleaned in a very long time.

I could not believe I had wasted my hard earned money to stay here when I have a perfectly good clean home!

I have only given one star as the computer system will not allow me to leave them empty!!!
