I Think Astreaus Are A Good Airlne Check-in Was Qu

I think Astreaus are a good airlne check-in was quick at Manchester security was good as it always has been at Machester. Departure lounge was good, we were one of the last to board we thought we nearly missed the flight but there was still a queue to board. Condition of plane was excellent, food was good, flight attendants were very nice. Flight was slightly early landing in Banjul, and security in banjul was good. Arrival of baggage at Banjul was slow.

I did not return with Astreaus, I returned with First Choice which were just as good as Asreaus.

Overall The Astraeus Flight Was A Pleasant Experie

Overall the Astraeus flight was a pleasant experience compared with our last trip with My Travel. Even though the planes were not modern the crew did their best to make sure the flight was as pleasant as possible.

Astraeus Refused To Give Compensation For The Dela

Astraeus refused to give compensation for the delayed flight and told us all to claim off our travel insurers. Upon checking the insurers only pay out after a 12 hour delay. Astraeus still did not want to know although they gave vouchers at the airport to the value of 11 euros each which at airport prices did not get a lot and could only be spent in limited airport shops. Would fault them on customer service because they showed they did not seem to care. Hence I will steer clear of this airline in future.

Astraeus I Think Is A Sister Company Of Thomas Coo

Astraeus I think is a sister company of Thomas cook and they were great to fly with. Both flights there and back were on time (no delays at all! bonus!) On the way there our seats were ok however with our flight being at 5.15am, trying to sleep on the plane was difficult as wasn't very comfortable to sleep on but the staff did there best to make us comfortable. On the way back we had seats at the front so extra legroom for no added cost! Another bonus, the staff were friendly and efficient and id definatly use this company again.

The Leg Room And Comfort On Astreaus Flights Is Fa

The leg room and comfort on Astreaus flights is far better than Britannia, JMC and Monarch etc. I enjoyed my flight with them. I think the previous reviewer should direct his complaints to his tour operator rather than Astreaus.

This Was The First Time That We Had Flown With Ast

This was the first time that we had flown with Astreaus, and we will definitely use them again.

We would like to thank Astreaus for a great flight! The cabin crew were great! They were very efficient, happy, and nothing was too much trouble, which made the flight very stress free.

Myself And My Partner Who Was Pregnant, Travelled

Myself and my partner who was pregnant, travelled to Zante for a short break, and we flew with Astreaus airlines at the end of September.

Checking in was a nightmare. I had never heard of this airline, and strangely neither had many other people. They didn't have a check-in desk or even a picture to go up on the screen to indicate it was them. Anyway, we finally found out when we had checked in with Aer Lingus (don't ask).

The flight was OK going out, but I think the owners should inspect the planes for themselves. The food was non-existent basically. It all ran out before getting to my our of the plane, AND we were up at the front! So they offered us some other snacks and said that they would try and accommodate us later.

On the flight back, just like on the way there, the plane picked us up first and then flew to another island. The attendants said there was no seat allocation on the plane, so we were to sit anywhere. People sat all over the place, and there was no organisation! The problem was that when the plane arrived at the next island, there were loads of families with children who were told that they had booked seats, but all their seats were no longer available. It was mayhem with some members of families at one end and the others... well. who knows? In the end the attendants had to beg people to switch seats, which no one would do, so we had a really bad trip back with EVERYONE complaining. There were mothers running from one side to the other to feed their kids, and the attendants looking like they wished they had never joined the company.

We Have Flown To Samos In Greece Every Year For Th

We have flown to Samos in Greece every year for the past 7 years, and it has primarily been with Excel each time, upon booking our holiday this year, we were surprised to see that Kosmar has taken on a new charter, Astreaus. We were slightly concerned as not even the travel agent had heard of them, so started to conduct some research of our own.

We checked in at Gatwick, and were greeted with pleasant smiles, telling us that we will be taking off on time, 5 minutes later they were telling passengers of our 6 hour delay.

We finally made our way down to the departure gate and were boarded on a bus to circumnavigate Gatwick, and pull up next to a Fly Be plane. (Very old, dirty and torn seats)

Food was disgusting, but what else do you expect from a charter. Seats were ripped and lacking in padding, and my seat belt was torn. I pointed out to the air stewardess, she said it would be ok.

Return flight, we were promised that we would actually fly Astreaus, but no, again another Fly Be plane, this time they only had enough food on the flight for just under half the passengers, and decided to give it out to random people. This almost caused a mutiny in the air. I was not too bothered as the food is normally awful.

They refused to serve drinks, and made us all keep our seat belts on for the entire journey, also only one toilet was working and the light went out every time you closed the door, all I can say, is its a good job I know where everything is.
