Worst Travel Experience

Be prepared for the worst flying experience you could ever have in your life!

The airport staff and flight attendants are rude and refuse to answer any simple question or give any directions in English.

They seem to be constantly angry and frustrated.

So very strange for an international company!

And don't even think that if you call Customer Service anything will be done to help you or give you a decent alternative.

Customer service agents do not have a respectful or professional approach to people. They just inform you that it's none of their business if you run into problems, that you should have read their "terms and policies" before you even consider booking a flight with them, and, in conclusion, that it's just your responsibility to find a solution.

They assertively say, in a repetitive manner, that your problem is none of their business!

With "the help" of Lot Polish Airline, I was left alone and stuck in a foreign country airport that doesn't care about people, unable to continue my journey or return to my country.

This company is a real nightmare!

Rude Unprofessional Ground Staff

Rude and unpleasant , impolite ground staff. Even at the business check-in counters at their main airport in Warsaw. Terrible customer service. They have an attitude of bush people. I wouldn’t recommend flying with LOT.

Lot Deceives Passengers

The flight LOT was cancelled. So far they have not returned the money for 2 tickets. They don't give the ARN number for the refund transaction. I do not recommend this company. LOT was cheating passengers.

Lot Transportation Center

We were traveling from Krakow to Warsaw but flight got delay and we could not get transfer fright to Szczecin. so, we had to stay in Warsaw. We went to Lot Transfer Center and Mr. Mikolas @ LTCS was taking care of us. We were very happy with his professional manner and attitude even we had to stay one extra night in Warsaw. I Thank you for great service at LOT TRANSFER CENTER.

Beware When Booking

We booked a trip YYZ-WAW-PRG and BUD-WAW-YYZ for 2 passengers through Expedia. Since Expedia will not offer seat maps for bookings made on airlines that charge for seats from the get go we were not able to pick our seats. After a few days from the day we made our booking and using our reservation number we checked on the airline's website to see if they had assigned our seats. We were surprised that on the YYZ-WAW and WAW-YYZ legs they airline assigned separate seats. We called LOT's customer service to inquire on this and they told us that Expedia picked our seat (BS, impossible!) and LOT cannot change them without charging us.

Customarily, airlines will make efforts to seat together all passenger flying on the same reservation (well, not Lufthansa) even if you let the airline pick your seats because you don't pay to reserve specific seats. This leads me to believe that LOT's policy is to purposely seat passengers separately so in the end a payment for seat assignment is made.

Bad Service And Unprofessional Customer Service

We flew on May 14th Chicago to Warsaw with their connection to Athens.

They pretended that all was well when they had internal problem. Had I know I would have changed flights.

We boarded and then pulled away from gate so they could say they left on time for their on time percentage. Then the stories began. Of course they done this before and knew that they were not going to be able to arrive any where on time but now they got your money. Of course they promise they are going to make up time when they get in the air over 3 hours late (10 minutes are really meaningful). We depart and wait in a long line waiting to see how we can fix things. The only option provided for us meant we would be at least 8 hours late. We had voucher service for transportation and needed to notify of them we would now arrive after midnight. We gave them number since we had no phone service and they said they would notify them. We asked if we could use a Star Alliance pass to notify other necessary services of our delay for the LOT lounge and they said it would be alright. Except when we got to lounge they said no. Then we waited in line to see if we could get pass. When we got to agent they said to just use crowded open very slow internet service provide by some corporation. Do I need to mention time zone issues? So now we have to fly north to eventually go south via Germany. Now we are again assured all will be well and by the time we get through all the checks and get to the gate we have no time to communicate with anyone. We arrive at Athens after midnight and find we have no transportation. The office is closed. The voucher is nonrefundable and after waiting awhile we pay a taxi $50 US to get us to hotel. We lost our upgrade room since they gave up on us and LOT notified no one. I sent complaint information to LOT via email but no reply for months. Still no flyer miles even though all information was received at booking. No one answers a phone locally. You receive busy a signal. I feel like I'm the enemy, not a customer.

Suxs Harder Than A Prostitute

My Russian wife wanted to visit her family in Mariupol, Ukraine. For cost reasons, we found it easier to take LOT Flight from JFK to WAW to KIEV. We then bought additional tickets for her to travel by train. The plane left 90 minutes late. Because of the trouble this presented, my wife and a couple other passengers from Odessa asked to me relocated to the front so they could have a fighting chance of catching the connecting flight. The rude flight attendant told them no. They missed the connecting flight so they were re-booked on another flight. That flight was an hour late too!!!! Needless to say the train tickets were useless and had to be re-purchased. When trying to speak with the call center, they were cold fish too. They only way to get satisfaction was to use their website and even then they will get back to me in 4 weeks. These guys suck harder than any pornstar. At least pornstars are more professional.

The Worst Airline Ever!

Very bad airline,they canceled my international flight a few hours before.I couldnt reach the customer service,they replace my flight for a next day so I lost whole day of my vacation in Europe.I will never again use LOT and not recommended to anyone.Very dissapointed.

Worst Flight Experience

Chicago-Warsaw-Sofia

This flight was a terrible experience. Everything was fine until I got to the gate only to find out my flight had been delayed 3 hours. I was certain that I would miss my flight from Warsaw to Sofia and I was right. The plane was fine but none of the flight attendants were willing to speak English. Even after I told them I didn't know Polish they continued speaking it. On the plane, they made an announcement apologizing in advance for anyone who would miss their connecting flight. When I FINALLY landed in Warsaw I was directed to a crowd around a desk where I would find out what gate my flight to Sofia was at. The flight was there about to take off but because I had waited in a screaming crowd for over 20 minutes, I had missed my flight. When I got to the gate they told me to go to I was directed to over 3 other gates until finally being told that my flight had taken off and that I would have to stay in Warsaw overnight. At their transit desk I waited in line for 2 hours when there were only 4 people in front of me. Fortunately, LOT payed for the hotel and I got a voucher for the restaurant there and my hotel was right by the airport. My room was very clean and the buffet was decent. The next morning, all I had to do was walk across the street to the airport; however at the airport I was again sent to 5 different desks to get a real ticket. When I finally passed through security and got to the gate, our flight to Sofia was delayed 2 hours. I would not recommend LOT

Bad Experience With Lot

It was our first and definetly last Flight wit LOT!

We did made Booking via WAW to RIX (Riga) and in Warshav we had a Connecting Time of 45 Minuted. Although our Plane arrived just few Minutes delayed, they did not wait for the Transitpassengers and have been also pretty rude! We felt like back in the former 60ty communism Years. Very bad Custumerservice at Warshov Airport at LOT Transferdesk!!! Staff seems not very professional.
