Comfortable And Clean
I was happy with Northwest's service which was as good as it's partner, KLM. I didn't have any problems at all. The food was okay, the comfort good, the process was relaxing. That's all a seasoned traveler really wants, right? Granted, it would be nice to get more, but it was well worth the price I paid.

I Thought I Got A Great Deal On My Flight From Lax
I thought I got a great deal on my flight from LAX to ICN (South Korea) on Northwest, a part of Delta Airlines. Little did I know, the service quality was going to be so horrible. If you're in economy, forget about asking for anything beyond what they serve you. More than half the flight attendants were rude and don't realize that the money we pay for our plane tickets pays their salaries. They should reconsider their profession in customer service.. they're doing a bad job representing Northwest/Delta. We were on flight 302 from Tokyo to LAX.. there was an older Japanese female flight attendant with bleached blond hair with more attitude than I've seen in all flight attendants put together.. although she was friendly towards and joking around with the males on the staff. The worst one of them all is Derrick Ma, he's your typical Asian looking young boy with spiky hair. The only pleasant flight attendant was a nice, elderly American gentleman who had trouble hearing. We had asked for some water b/c we were sitting next to an aisle sitter who had fallen asleep and we didn't want to disturb him, the rude Japanese flight attendant came and served us with some attitude on the side. While my bf was waiting for the bathroom, he saw the water pitcher on the cart and poured some into his cup. Derrick immediately stopped him and told him that was only for business class passengers and that we needed to ask for water. Maybe if asking for something was met with better customer service, we would want to ask for something rather than help ourselves. When did water become for business class passengers only? With all the recent and upcoming layoffs, I'm thinking Northwest/Delta needs to reconsider employing people who make their company look bad. I know we will never fly Northwest/Delta again, and we will make sure we tell others about our recent, horrible experiences so they don't fly Northwest either.

Excellent Crew, Seats Were Comfy And Had Height Ad
Excellent crew, seats were comfy and had height adjustable winged headrests, good IFE (it's even an on demand system) with plenty of content as well as music and maps, tasty food - dinner and a lighter meal.
All in all, very good.

This Is The Worst Airline I Have Ever Used...ever!
This is the worst airline I have ever used...ever! I am furious that I can't even leave a more elaborate review because of the minimum space given. I have too much to say but I guess I will just have to sum it up. I felt like the flight attendants were the most rude and obnoxious people, especially the male flight attendants. I cant complain about everything because of the lack of space given but I will be heard about at least this much. I have never seen anything like this before. The worst of the worst was this F.A. named Michael. Tall, thin, older gentlman with grey hair and glasses. He was so rude to everyone, especially the japanese people. He was rude, and nasty to anyone who requested anything from him, especially the japanese man sitting next to me. His english wasnt the greatest, so Michael made it his business to make this man uncomfortable. I am shocked that this airline is ran the way that it is...just shocked. If it were my airline and I saw this flight attendant in action for five minutes...I would terminate him on the spot. Like I said before, they were all horrible but Michael was by far the nastiest. There was one asian lady...dressed in a pink suit, and her hair in a french twist who looked professional and was extremely polite, but she was the only one. One person on the entire flight with common decency and tact. I will never fly northwestern again.

Northwest Airlines. I Booked This Flight For My Wi
Northwest Airlines. I booked this flight for my wife and I in March, nearly six months before the actual departure date - I could not get seat assignments at the time. When I finally did get seat assignments, a few days before the flight, on two of the three connecting flights we were taking home, my wife's seat and my seat were in different sections of the plane. She is very afraid of flying and I continually try to comfort her during flights, not sitting beside her made this impossible. She told me after this experience with Northwest, she will never fly again. When I asked about this seating problem a Northwest rep told me that they had to take care of preferential customers first - yet the people in the seats we were placed in were lone travelers. This airline is horrible.

I Flew From Philadelphia To Cedar Rapids Iowa With
I flew from Philadelphia to Cedar Rapids Iowa with a connection each way so that totals 4 flights with Northwest Airlines...one out of the four flights were on time. All of the NWA workers were absolutely rude!!! As if I was getting paid to sit on the flight(3 hours on the runway at one point) and they were being forced to work. On my way home I had to sit with a man who was so fat that he couldn't even put the armrest down, he literally took up half of my seat! I had to lean into the aisle and the flight attends ran right into me everytime they past and not once did they say excuse me. This man should have bought two seats(isn't that the rule?) instead I bought a whole seat and was only able to use half. The flight was full so even if I had asked to move I wouldn't have been able too, and I didn't want to make this giant feel bad. I will most likely never fly Northwest again, unless it is an absolute emergency and I will certainly never recommend them and I will be sure to tell this story to everyone. Might I add there was a screaming baby next to me when I sat on the runway for three hours and the flight attendants were to busy keeping first class happy to even offer this poor mother anything for the baby to drink or eat. Terrible!!!

I Purchased My Northwest Ticket Over The Phone For
I purchased my northwest ticket over the phone for my husband 62 year old aunt whom was also our live in Nanny. The trip was from San Diego, Ca to Minnesota. When she arrived at the airport she was told that the the trip was done backwards. From minnesota to California so she was not able to take the flight and had her ride take her to the greyhound. Since then I have been trying to get her money back and we keep being told that because it is a non refundable ticket it does not matter if there agent made the mistake because they emailed a trip summary.
The bad thing is that they have admitted that it was there fault but not willing to do anything to fix the problem. They just keep saying that we could have called/checked our emails to confirm the flight. It is 2 mths now and I just got an email again asking to please accept their appology for their agent not doing their job correctly but since I didnt double check they can not process my refund. - I will never recommend this airline to anybody!

It Is 5:15pm At This Time. I Am Currently Stuck At
It is 5:15pm at this time. I am currently stuck at Chicago's O'hare international airport flying with Northwest Airlines and so far I hate this airline. First of my flights departure is going to be late by 40 mins (not too long) but I have a connecting flight at detroit MI at 8:35. I will miss my connecting flight. As per a very rude and unprofessional member of staff, there will be no hotel accomedations, no other connecting flight untill the next morning and no food vouchers provided. So where does this leave me? Stuck at the airport for 11 hours and on top of all that I will miss my bussines meeting. I have flown all over the country with every possible airline there is and so far this on is the worst of them all. I will never fly this airline again even if it means I have to drive 15 hours. Their customer service is below zero at best. Ohh and the flight is delayed due to weather conditions. I didn't airplanes had trouble taking off when its 80 degrees outside. The sun's too bright for the pilot and he forgot his sun shades?

By Far The Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Enco
By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered is at northwest. My 45 minute layover in Detroit turned into sitting on the runway for 3 hours waiting for take off. Towards the end of those 3 hours we were finally cleared for takeoff only to be told we needed to go back to the gate to re-fuel. Upon arriving at the gate the captain comes out to tell us NorthWest had cancelled our flight. There was a quick moving thunderstorm that lasted about 20 minutes, yet NorthWest listed this as the reason for their cancellation. They continued to cancel flights all day causing a complete re-booking nightmare. They even cancelled flights to cities where the storm never hit.
The staff could not have been any ruder. In the end I spend 13 hours in Detroit, only to finally get a flight to Buffalo (a full 1.5 hour drive from my Final Destination).
The cherry on top of it all was witnessing a girl miss her 5pm flight to Buffalo on her own accord-throwing a complete fit and not only getting onto the sold out 9pm flight I had been waiting all day for, but getting meal tickets and first class to boot.
Needless to say, this will be my last trip ever with this airline.
Good luck with that merger Delta, you're going to need it.
