We Booked The Flight 3 Months Ago And Had A Medica

we booked the flight 3 months ago and had a medical emergency and cancelled the flight within 5 days. still couldnt get any refund despite cancelling the flight within 5 days and submitting a proof of emergency from our medical doctor. spanair simply gave us the run around and screwed us in the end.

Booked A Flight From Nce-bcn. A Week After I Booke

Booked a flight from NCE-BCN. A week after I booked it, I got an email to tell me that the flight had been cancelled, and I had been automatically rebooked on a flight 3 days later. Not later that day, or the next day - 3 days later! When I called Spanair to ask for a flight closer to my original booking, the rep. told me that would not be possible and my only option was a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me. In the week since I made the original booking, the alternative flights had all increased in price, so Spanair cost me a lot of money. Even worse, it took three weeks for the refund to be processed. Also, much of the information is only provided in Spanish (unlike the more respectable European carriers), so the airline is not well suited to non-Spanish speaking customers. Awful airline, abysmal customer service - avoid at all costs!

A Very Basic Service For A Basic Price. The Fligh

A very basic service for a basic price. The flights (both outbond & back) were late over an hour for vague reasons. Since we were traveling for leisure it made no difference to us but I'd be upset w/ the service for business usage. The flight crew were nice but did not extend themselves to help out w/ baggage or anything. The seats were on top of each other so if you're tall bring knee pads! lol. It was fine for an 1.5 hours but I'd rethink my choice for a longer flight.

it was the worst flight in my life. long hour delay and they broke my and friends' luggages into pieces. what an airline!

I really don't recommend this airline to the whole passengers in the world.

Spanair, you must change your slogan into: THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD

1) Spanair Lounge - The Airline Advertises Through

1) Spanair Lounge - The airline advertises through out Spain how their Priority travelers (this is how they refer to their first/business class travelers) enjoy the privledges of their Lounges with their fabulous services whenever you fly Spanair. Since we were flying from Seville (which I would consider a larger city) and since we had checked in 2 hours early I went looking for the Spanair Lounge. I could not find it nor could I find anyone to ask. I finally walked into the Iberia Lounge to see if they knew about it. They told me there used to be a Spanair Lounge opposite gate 5 but it had been closed with no plans they were aware of to reopen. So the Lounge Spanair so proudly advertises does not exist.

2) Priority Boarding - When we checked in our boarding passes were stamped with the words "Priority Boarding". We were told that there would be an announcement and we would be able to be among the first to board (not unusual with most airlines for those sitting at the front of the plane).

As we sat in the boarding area the ticket agent dragged over a sign saying "Priority Boarding here" and put it to the left of her desk (boarding was to the right of the desk). So when boarding was announced we went and stood in front of the sign. Everyone else lined up on the right in front of the gate. She then announced families with children could now board (and there were a lot of them). We were completely ignored so I asked her if we were standing in the right place. So without looking up from the desk she said yes, yes we could board (this conversation all took place in Spanish). So as we started to board the other people in line started shouting at us this was boarding for families for children. So the agent, still without looking up, and with a shrug told them that we were preferred. I felt she created an unnecessarily embarrassing situation.

3) Meal - We were presented with a plastic wrapped pre-packaged tray with cheese on one side and ham on the other (think Oscar Meyer). The flight attendant ripped off the plastic covering and presented it to us. There were no napkins, no utensils offered. You were supposed to eat this treat with your fingers. Yummy.

4)Baggage - We arrived that evening in Barcelona from Seville (a 1 1/2 hour flight). We had checked in one bag which had been marked "Priority" by the ticket agent. We watched as everyone else retrieved their bag. Our bag never showed up.

We were leaving Barcelona early the next morning to begin our journey back home. We had to place a missing bag report and hope that the bag showed up in the few hours we had left before we left Spain (stressful). Fortunately, when the hotel called us with our wake up call at 5AM they told us the bag had been found.

So the positive end to the story is we eventually arrived in one piece.

Horrible! Not Only Was The Flight Late And Servic

HORRIBLE! Not only was the flight late and service substandard, but my luggage has been lost for two weeks with no compensation. This airline is run by morons and I would NEVER recommend flying with them.

Flights From Mad To Tfn (tenerife North) And Tfn T

Flights from MAD to TFN (Tenerife North) and TFN to MAD.

(A321 and A320).

Good seats and good staff. No problems. They were kindly when sit my childreen near me and their mother after no seats near.

Flew Agp-bcn-mah Then Return Mah-mad Agp. Of The 4

Flew agp-bcn-mah then return mah-mad agp. Of the 4 flights we took 3 were with Spanair. Malaga to Barcelona, flight was delayed 1 hour, plane a 717 was very cramped but for a flight of 1 hour and 10 mins it was bearable. The return flight Mah to Mad was on an Airbus 321, very new plane lots of leg room shame it was only a 45 min flight. The next leg Mad to Agp was on MD 87, a very very old SAS (part of Star Alliance) , flight on time but very noisy, and a few of the prople were not happy to be on a MD, remembering the accident last year.

Found A Flight For The Family (2 Adults, 1 Child A

found a flight for the family (2 adults, 1 child and one 2 month old baby) on Spanair from malaga to barcelona for 350 ' . I found this expensive for a 90 minute domestic flight but I booked it anyway.

I decide to check on the prices 12 hours later and the SAME flights are available for 180 ' !!

I used their web based complaint form to either get a refund for the difference or an upgrade and I have not received any sort of response. Not even an automated email response!!

I am a frequent flyer card holder for this airline but I will never fly with them again.,

One would think that in this day an age, with increased competition etc, they would try a bit harder, but not Spanair it seems!

This Was The Worst Airline I Have Ever Flown In My

This was the worst airline I have ever flown in my entire life! Aside from the flight being terrible, with terrible service, when we landed we had been notified that our luggage had been lost. We were flying from Frankfurt to Barcelona then to Menorca. We immediately took the claim up with customer service and they assured us that the luggage would be in on the next flight and delivered withing 5 hours. This was a short stay of only five days, so we were thrilled that our items would be there. Our luggage didn't show up until day 4!!! We played cat and mouse with these people our entire vacation. Later to find out that the luggage had actually arrived on time, but was never delivered to us, despite our CONSTANT phone calls. Because we had no toiletries, not bathing suits, and only one pair of clothing, they assured us that whatever money we spent on these items, they would fully refund us. This trip was in May of 2008, we still have not received our refund check. I call them nearly everyday and continuously get the same answer from them, it's on the way. I just got off the phone with them about 10 minutes ago and they notified me that the check was never sent and is lost, and will take another 2-3 months to arrive!
