Just back from Portugal.Booked 2 adults+4 children with faroairporttransfers.com. 86 euro return. Driver was waiting at the airport on arrival. Brought to club albufeira ( steep hills to apartment ). He stopped at reception and began unloading our bags . It would have been nice if driver brought us to the apartment. I got my 86 euro ready and driver added another 7 euro so was charging me 93 euro instead. I showed him my print out which showed price of 86 euro but it didn't help. So, I gave him 93 euro minus a tip for which I got a dirty look back in return. We had to carry our luggage up steps and hills to get to our apartment. The day before we were leaving ,I rang to make sure we got picked up at 6.30 am where a rude man told me that if it was on the original email from two weeks previous , there was no need to ring him to confirm. He took none of my details to check so we did not know if we were going to be picked up until 6.30am that morning.Fortunately we were picked up and brought to the airport but it was unsettling not knowing if we would get to the airport on time. I emailed them about the extra charge the day after we got to portugal but still waiting for reply.Not recommended .

payed up front,pick up ok but return trip NO pickup,confirmed pick up the day before as asked,pickup time was 06:30 hrs,phoned the number we were given,straight into answer phone,waited till 07:15hrs then had no option but to walk into town to find taxi to airport.

E mailed on return and after three mails were told sorry the driver went to the wrong address,we were told we would get a full refund(ha ha).after about a dozen e mails NO reply or NO REFUND.

SO BE WARNED DO NOT USE FARO AIRPORT TRANSFERS.

We have used Faro Airport Transfers many times to Monchique. The trip from the airport to Monchique has always been ok. Driver is waiting for us with a sign. They are friendly and speak English.

The problem is with the return trip to the airport to catch an early morning flight. We have experienced that out of 3 return trips the driver did not show up at 2 of them. Once at 6:00 AM and yesterday at 4:30. In all three occasions we were travelling with small childeren. It has caused a lot of stress and extra expenses.

If you use this company for your return flight make sure you have a backup plan in place and don't pay in advance.

I would not recommend www.faroairporttransfers.com because they did not provide of an infant car seat. my baby is 4 months old and on neither journey an infant car seat was available. I specified on my booking that I required a rear facing seat suitable for a small baby, it is dangerous to travel without a proper seat and I was disappointed with the servive. The website is totally misleading in this respect as it allows the customer to book an infant car seat but doesn't provide one.

We booked with faroairporttransfers three weeks before our holiday for our return trip back to the airport. We paid upfront via Paypal and took a printed copy of the confirmation email and paypal receipt just in case. The day before our flight home we telephoned the company on the number provided on the confirmation email as the villa we were staying in was not easy to find and we also wanted to bring the pick up time forward by 30mins. They were able to help with excellent english and took our mobile number to ring when they were at the village close to the villa so we could direct them to us. On departure day we received a phone call from the company 15mins before we were due to be picked up advising us the driver was 5 minutes from the village and would be contacting us shortly for final directions. This gave us time to get the suitcases on the drive and sure enough we got another phone call and greeted the driver 5 minutes before the agreed time. Our friends were travelling to the airport via a hire car and were struggling to fit all their luggage in, the drive from faroairporttransfers offered to take their suitcases as well so that they could hav a more comfortable journey. Once the journey to the airport was complete (which was taken at a sensible speed) the driver unloaded all the suitcases and helped us to take them to the departure lounge. Excellent service all round and I would have no hesitation in using this company again.

In Sept 2010 our plane arrived at Faro after 8p.m.We expected to be in our apartment by about 9.30p.m.latest but arrived there after midnight- no thanks to the incompetence of the man in charge of arranging our seats on the coach which were pre-booked. Everyone in the queue awaiting their transfers were most fed up. We thought we were going to be put on a mini bus which is always very efficient but were put on a Trans-Sol coach which had to wait to be filled before it pushed off. We were the last to be dropped off and at the wrong place even though the address was clear on the form. Unfortunately the driver didn't speak english so we couldn't communicate. I'm booking with small minibus companies from now on.

Just wanted to say what a great service we received from that company and driver. Both transfers to and from the airport were on time, and the driver was very helpful in assisting us with the baby seat and luggage. It made the holiday by having such a good service.

I will certainly use faroairporttransfers.com again and will recommend to others.

While being the owner of Faroairporttransfers.net I would appreciate that people in general do not diminish the expression Faro airport transfers because a particular company has not met their expectations.

Recently had a very bad experience with faro airport transfers Despite having booked and paid on line, they showed up one hour late to take us to the Airport. Then a dangerous drive along the the A22 to try to make up time. They would not have shown up at all if I had not rang them in advance of the pick up time. Completely unreliable in my experience.

We got onto the website www.faroairporttransfers.com to bring us to and from airport. Cheapest I found on the net and very reliable. 14 people in a 16 seater bus for 188 euros return fare. Great value.
