We have used Amoita twice now from Lisbon Airport and I have to say they take the worry out of car hire. We've had great service both times we have used Amoita and their staff are friendly, informative and helpful. We got a free upgrade in our latest dealing with them so were very happy. I was recommended them by a friend and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others....as they say, positive recommendations via word of mouth are the best form of advertising. They reassured you about the condition of the car and take the worry out of it. They also gave us some good directions on how to get onto the route to our destination. Overall, good value for money, reliable and peace of mind throughout the hiring experience.

We have used Amoita Car Hire in Lisbon many times. They are always punctual, staff are very friendly. No scamming customers on return of vehicle, charging for non existing damage. And very competitive prices.

That was our first experience with amoita. And it was a good one. We arrived to the Faro airport very late, a man from Amoita (shame, I forgot his name) came to the Faro airport meeting point and together we went to Amoita car parking place. It was not far away, about 10 minutes walk from the airport.

He filled all the documents, mark all the scratches on the car and did his job very quickly. We were a bit late so need to pay additional 20euros, which was fine. And he didn’t insist us to buy any insurance as other car renting companies always do and charge additional money for it.

The only one bad thing was toll roads, we were charged for it, even we didn't go though these toll roads (we use navigation to avoid it). They just charge us 20 euros without any additional explanation.

have used Amoita for many years now & mainly because of the exceptional service we have always received. When issues have occurred whether it be caused by us or Amoita the professional way they approach & resolve the issue never fails to impress me. We always recommend Amoita to family & friends who travel to Portugal & will continue to do so without hesitation.

Hired from Amoita July/August 2016, excellent in every way. Brand new vehicle, booked smallest car size but was given next size up at no extra cost. Very helpful and friendly service at Lisbon airport, no pressure to pay for extras. Thoroughly recommended and would use this company again without a doubt. A great relief to find people who take great pride in honesty and excellent customer care, in a market where many people experience the opposite.

I rented a car last January with Amoita and was very pleased with the warm attitude of the staff. Very helpful people. The car was a recent Ibiza in nice conditions, clean and safe. They didn't try to push me to buy extra insurance which was surprising to me. Returned the vehicle one week later and it was as fast as picking it up. All so simple and friendly. The motorway tolls was a bit confusing with two different systems, but only paid what I used. Highly recommended!

In octobre 2015,I made a online booking with Amoita for 995 Euro for two weeks. I thought I had booked a station wagon and was therefore ready to pay such a high price. When we arrived in Lissabon, an assistant welcomed us and made us (fully packed with boards) walk around 10 minutes to a fuel station. there she showed us the car which has been reserved for us. It was no station wagon and there was no way to get our boards in the car. we asked for another bigger model, which was not available. Therefore we rent with another company a station wagon and asked the same day Amoita to refund the amount we had payed several month in advance. They did not answer this email. I called them and was asked to send another email. Again they did not answer. On the request of my credit Card Company they refered to their Terms & Conditions 1.6 as a "no show situation", where they define themselves that they refund cancellations. But there was no refund. Very strange business attitude. I definitely do not recommend Amoita.

It was the second time that we used this service and it is Five Stars!

All worked fine!! All employes are really professional and nice.
