Having Just Returned From Lohifushi, We Are Findin
Having just returned from Lohifushi, we are finding it difficult to stop day-dreaming about our wonderful holiday there. The resort has been thoughtfully set out so that every room has a stunning sea view, but is slightly set back so that when you are on the beach, you feel as though you are in your own, private paradise. Lohifushi is wonderfully relaxing - we spent a week there and felt totally rested, which is amazing given our busy city jobs! We also feel fatter though, as the food was so good that we had to sample pretty much everything on offer.
If you enjoy snorkelling/diving, Lohifushi is a must - the house reef is excellent, absolutely full of tropical fish.
We would recommend this resort highly - but perhaps next time we would upgrade to a superior room to gain a little more indoor luxury.
It is nice to see such a good review of Lohifushi so soon after the Tsunami. We were there during the Tsunami and it was very frightening we left the island very worried about the people. Its nice to see the Island was back to normal a few days later. It is a fantastic place with fantastic people and we want to go back ASAP.
The staff were amazing, beaches, weather, good surfing,relaxation, food, the whole resort is excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone.
