Great Hotel - Would Definitely Stay Again

I took my girlfriend on a surprise trip to Tallinn, Estonia for her birthday, and decided to stay at Domina Inn Illmarine as it was recommended in the Rough Guide. It's in a converted warehouse just outside of the Old Town, near the port. It's also right in the middle of Tallinn's Cultural Kilometre - an area of the city set aside for events and exhibitions being held as part of being awarded the 2011 European Capital of Culture.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the breakfast every morning was good, with a selection of hot and cold food. We didn't eat there in the evening, so I can't comment on their dinners, although from looking at the menus they looked very good price wise.

I'd say the only downside is the location. With it being outside the Old Town, and most of the sights being inside the Old Town, it meant a 15 minute walk to and from the Old Town every time we headed out. It's not so bad I suppose, and I guess it makes up for it with the cost.

Well worth checking out if you ever go to Tallinn, which you definitely should - it's so beautiful and very chilled out.
