Joylife

Travelled to Joylife in May 2010 with 4 adults 2 children. Had trouble with the water our first week. Had 2 days with no water at all. Only 1 toilet roll supplied per week for a family of 4 - had to buy the rest. No snacks available. Food repetitive and sometimes cold - was nice when hot though. All inclusive bar closed at 10PM, and depending on the mood of the staff, you could buy drinks after that. Resort 1/2 hour walk away - 5 euros in a taxi - too expensive to do every evening. Entertainment OK - better in our 2nd week. Some of the staff were lovely, but some were unfriendly and unhelpful. Would definitely not go back there again.

I have just got back from 2 weeks there and I fully enjoyed it. My showers were always hot and, as for the food, for a cheap holiday what do you expect? I did find the manager could be rude but the other staff made our holiday as amazing as it was!

We visited this hotel in June 2008 and were very disappointed, it should definitley not be all inclusive as you'll succumb to boredom. We suggest go into Sidari which is nice and eat there, also the evening entertainment is good.

The Joylife apartments are situated approx 10 mins drive or 20 - 30 mins stroll from the centre of Sidari. The rooms are clean and very typically basic although all have air conditioning which is payable separately. There are 2 pools and a bar that serves snacks throughout the day. The apartments are used by Kosmar travel company, the reps seem nice and friendly, and will help if you have any problems. If you take a 5 min walk down the road you will come accross a supermarket and taverna. I would recommend the apartments to those who do not want to stay in the town centre, and do not mind walking.
