Agios Nikolaos, Mirabella Apartments

Staff are good, lovely views, and excellent fun. Bad points, nothing really to do. Overall, brilliant. I would recommend the Mirabella Apartments.

The Mirabella Apartments in Crete are not five-star accommodation, but good value for money. We were made very welcome. The room was cleaned regularly, and the view from the balcony is beyond compare. Quite a long walk to Agios, but you can always stop at KriKri on the way down, where Ioannis will make you very welcome (try his home-made Raki). We will definitely be returning, and we look forward to staying at Mirabella again.

We have just returned from Mirabella apartments for the second time,located in a pleasant area giving beatiful views accross mirablla bay.

The accomadation is basic but this is expected as described in Kosmars brocure. The rooms were cleaned twice in our week stay with fresh towels but bed linen was only turned round.safety deposit boxs and air conditioning are available at extra cost,this was 10 euros and 30 euros.we didnt have the air conditioning, but i would highly recommend having it as it gets that hot at night its unbearable.

Travellers cheques can be cashed in reception for a modest commision charge.

Overall I would recommend a stay here, there are 3 tavernas near by all of which are good,the candia being exceptional with their food.

ag nik is about a 45 minute stroll away,but the bus stop is outside the accomadation and only costs 1 euro into town.

Looking forward to visiting again but not in July as it gets far to hot 40 degrees some days

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Aghios Nikolaos.

Mirabella apartments are in a fantastic location and tick all the boxes for an excellent holiday base in Crete.

Family owned, Koula and her staff are helpful and friendly, the accommodation is clean but basic, typical of that to be expected in Crete, the only issue was the lack of towels, but not a problem if you are forewarned!

The views are wonderful and the apartments are only a short walk to the beach, although they do have their own pool, ideal to relax by in the scorching heat! And great for relaxing by at night when the kids are in bed!

Travelling with Kosmar we found our rep Erin to be helpful, although we had no real need to contact her. The holiday was booked at a great price for the time of year and I can honestly say we really enjoyed ourselves in a great resort.

All in all I would rate the apartments and resort very highly, we will return!
