Absolute Nightmare - Falsely Advertised, Bullish Staff

Stayed here over summer 2016. Reduced to tears at least three times over 10 days given this "self catering" apartment was so badly falsely advertised online. We thought we would have a nice room with "everything we needed" at hand for self catering, only the "kitchen" was about 1 metre wide, and you got two pots, one kettle, one spoon, one knife, a few plates, and that was IT... disgraceful.

Room felt like a prison cell, bed linen wasn't changed and blankets were dirty. Electricity kept going out, you only get ONE power outlet in the room, the beds are awful - like jail cell beds - metal bed frame and thin mattress that leave you with body aches in the morning, and staff who bully you if you dare to complain.

The receptionist, called Iriny, was a nightmare to deal with - really like a prison warden with her hair in a tight bun and she begrudged even the slightest request (we told her that the computers were 't working, that we had put a pound coin in one and didn't get it back, and she didn't believe us. She also rolled her eyes when we asked for a packet of salt.

Also, the "jacuzzi" they advertise is not a jacuzzi. It's COLD. One or two weak jets of COLD WATER. That's not what you expect, it is?

Whilst the pool area is nice (minus the cold jacuzzi), the room was just awful, and it ruined our holiday, as did the reception/management staff.

I have never been reduced to tears on any previous holiday in my life. And we couldn't wait to go home - and this was also a first...

When we did get home, we tried to put a claim into our holiday company, love holidays, and the hotel wrote them a letter in broken english full of junvenile lies about us, such as we expected "everything for free" (we asked for salt).

Also travellers should know that mini market food prices in Ixia are EXTORTIONATE - you cannot afford to EAT unless you live off pitas at the local beach shack or have some food in the sports bar. So this is NO GOOD for budget travelers!

NEVER AGAIN!!!
