Romantic Hotel

Do not go to this hotel, building work next door for ten hrs a day, if you want a veiw of a cement mixer then that's ok, everyone complaining, the noise is so loud they kept turning the music up to hide it. We have complained to Expedia who we booked with and they are choosing to ignore us. Please don't waste your money.

This was my first holiday abroad and Im so glad we picked this hotel.The staff are very helpful and friendly the hotel is clean and the breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice.I cant comment on the evening meal as we only had bed and breakfast but there are great eating places near by.The beach is just across the road with fantastic views.I would recommend this Hotel to everyone...Well done ROMANTIC..We came home Saturday and booked for next year.Cant wait

Fantastic food, fantastic staff, a great time was had by all at the Romantic Hotel, well worth a visit. Just about to book again.

My wife and I really liked this hotel the Romantic Hotel and the general feel to the place we will certainly go back the food in the restaurant was of a better standard than we expected in the morning and evening sittings. The view from the front of the hotel is really good onto the bay and palm trees on to the distant hills lovely.

We have been very satisfied with this lovely little hotel, and can recommend it to anyone at the lower end of the market. If you want to get in you have to book very early.

Very Friendly Staff, very clean, brilliant view at the Romantic Hotel, Puerto Pollensa. Older crowd but that wasn't really that bad. Close to Everything. We were a young couple but totally enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back. Great location!!! Nice Staff!!

We found this hotel relaxed and friendly with very helpful staff. The location was great within easy walk of the central bars and restaurants, which is also a very relaxed and with loads of choice. With the sea just across the road where the beach was never packed, the lack of a pool was not an issue at all. If you are the sort of person who wants to go away and do your own thing rather than lots of entertainment etc. thrust upon you the Hotel Romantic is ideal. Myself and my 13 year old son went and found the mix of people in the hotel lovely, although they do not encourage young children I found it great for a single mum as it had a safe, friendly, caring atmosphere, and we arranged any entertainment ourselves. With still lots to do and see in the area we will be returning. Maybe see you there!

I loved this place so much that I'm back there in September for one week and have already booked for two weeks next May, beat that. If I had more time and money I'd be there again now but just can't right now, what a shame. If you're not staying here, still go there and have something to eat, we had chicken, chips and salad it is a big serving for 3.50 Euros and of course you must wash it down with some Sangria at 6 Euros a jug, heaven, if you don't believe me try it for yourself. They don't have entertainment at the hotel but the restaurant next door does a couple of times a week and from what I heard it was very entertaining. Or you could use the Hotel Polensa Park, there is also a pub called Palms on your way to the Polensa Park and they have really good gigs on there, staff are brilliant, food and beer is the same, give them a go, prices here are very good too. If you are going to the Romantic Hotel then you will have a brilliant holiday, have lots of fun.

Romantic Hotel was a quiet hotel just on the outskirts of the town centre approx 200mts away but right across the road from the beach which had the usual amenities sailing snorkling bathing. The food was of a good standard and was buffet style there was a great choice for both breakfast and dinner and you could stuff yourself silly also a good selection wine. Staff were attentive and friendly and the rooms though a bit small were clean with ensuite and air/con. No tv or view from balcony and a smell of cigar smoke which we could not get rid of I will ask in future for non smoking room.

There was the added bonus that you could go round the corner approx 150mts to there larger sister hotel and use there pool, bar and go to there entertainment every night if you wished. There was a choice of bars and resturants close by if you wanted to go eleswhere to eat or for a snack. The bar served all the usual drinks as well as a variety of cocktails and snacks. We would go back to the hotel again and certainly the resort as we found it enchanting at night and vibrant during the day. The weekly markets, go your own way by bus which stops outside hotel both ways, and there is weekly market at the top of the town. The market traders seem to go to them all save your money and go to the local one.

Puerto Pollensa, Romantic Hotel - The holiday was great. The accommodation was basic, but that was what we'd paid for and that was what we expected. However, the rooms were clean and we had everything we needed.

The hotel staff were very good and helped us to book some excursions. we took the family to Western Water Park, which was probably the best family day out available. It was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone because there were so many choices. My wife and I enjoyed the shows (especially the diving show) and the kids loved the slides. The guide on the bus was very informative and very helpful. We also went to marineland, which again, is great for families. We had the full day there, which was good because it was packed. The guide on the bus (it was the same one as Western park) even gave us discount tickets for the pedaloes on the beach and recommended a good breakfast.

We found it much cheaper to book the excursions at the reception than with the rep because for one, the rep was very rarely there, and for two, we saved about 70€ in total on the three trips we booked compared with the prices of First Choice. The company the hotel work with are called No Frills Excursions and we owe them a lot for making our holiday really fun.

The resort of Pollensa was very nice (when we were in resort and not out on some trip or other). It has a nice harbour and a good atmosphere around the main square. We also found the Pine Walk (on our last day!) which was a walk along the promenade with lots of greenery - very pleasant.

We would definitely return and would recommend both the hotel and the resort, although we went to Alcudia one day and liked that resort too.
