Alpha Apartments

Rooms a decent size its quite close to beach and shops also perfect for nightlife as everywhere so close by. Has swimming pool with toilets downstairs and plenty of sun loungers, food and drink downstairs is good and reasonable, the only negative I really have is air-condioning it costs 50cents an hour and we stayed end off July to 1st wk in August power boiled, spent quite alot on air condition and we were trying not to use it too much. Staff are lovely and accomodating, tv downstairs in cafe gets uk channels. Its a nice place to stay plus very good value.

Apartments ALPHA is situated in Calle Kennedy. 750 metres to the beach.

ENTRANCE HALL: Well tiled with large glass sliding doors.

RECEPTION: Good size,staff very polite & friendly. Doubles up as a left luggage room. Money exchange available. Two public phones in corridor close to the lifts.

LIFTS: 2 lifts, very small.

APARTMENT: First impression was disappointing. Door to apartment would NOT close unlessyou used your key. Always ask reception for 2 keys.

LIVING ROOM: Clean but very basic. Furnished with bed settee, table & 4 chairs, glass cabinet, drawers, tv, etc.

BALCONY: Good size. Views from the balcony vary depending on which apartment you are allocated. B,C &D apartments overlook the pool. A apartments overlook waste ground & a car park.

BEDROOM: Twin beds, reading lights, good size wardrobe but very limited drawer space.

BATHROOM: Well tiled, bath, shower etc.

KITCHEN: American style, worktop seperating kitchen from living room. Cooker, 2 gas burners, kettle & toaster. Cups, plates etc stored in living room. Sink in very poor position.

CAFE/BAR: Very good, you can buy most things from the bar. Meals good.

SWIMMING POOL: Nice pool & lawned area. Seperate outside toilets for people using pool.

EXTRAS: Deposit from 50 Euros, safe (charge + deposit). Air Con 7 Euros per day. Tv (charge).

OVERALL: Very basic but clean. Not for FAMILYS.
