Rhyl, The Promenade B&B

Have been to Rhyl many a time as I try to visit my grandad for a little holiday as often as I can so I usually visit at least once a year. Usually stay in Pontins holiday camp but decided to try out a b&b a little closer to my grandad. So after spending days scouring the Internet for accommodation I came across the Promenade which I thought looked lovely and decided to pay that little bit extra for the premier room which was advertised on their website for £60 per night as this room had a sea view and did look that extra bit special. Shocked when I called the owner told me it was actually £65 per night. May I add it is still advertised as £60 but I had my heart set on this place so I agreed no questions asked. Arrived around 2pm and my partner and I were welcomed by the owner and shown to our room. To our delight we were very impressed, looked just as it had been advertised, very spacious, modern and clean. Were told by the owner and I quote "come and go as you please". What a load of rubbish, our first night out yes we didn't get back in till quite late and were a little drunk and giggly from our first nights holiday as you should expect when people are on a holiday break and you run and B&B. We were greeted in the morning by the owner who promptly decided to make us aware that we had made a right noise causing a complaint from another guest and that we had woken his wife and that it had taken her a while to get back to sleep. Total over reaction I feel, yes we were probably a little loud on our feet in the room when we got back but it's pretty hard not to make a noise when your bedroom is one up with laminate flooring of course you will hear footsteps. Well I felt so uncomfortable after that and just didn't want to be there, I mean I was that paranoid after the fuss he made that I removed my shoes 5 minutes before I arrived back to the B&B the last two nights we stayed. And on the morning we were to leave we were 10 minutes late to which his wife knocked on the door and said "you were suppose to be out 15 minutes ago". I thought the way we were treated was disgusting and I will never be back nor will my partner. What a let down and just wished I would have stayed in the West Minster Hotel instead. The rating 4 is for how nice the room was and a half decent breakfast but as far as customer service.......need you ask.
