Deluxe Inn, Merrillville

This place is DISGUSTING on so many levels... I have the slightest clue as to why this place is allowed to stay open. The rooms stink, there were 3 big bugs on the bathroom floor,blood on the sheets, & you can see where hot crack pipes left burns on the side of the tub...not to mention the BED BUGS!!! So they have a policy that you MUST SAY YOU ARE DISPLEASED WITH THE ROOM BEFORE 15 MINS OF BEING IN THE ROOM which only took us 60 secs before we went back down to the front desk (which they have to unlock the door & let you in) I showed them the pics of this nasty hell hole of a room & they had the nerve to say & I quote "YOU PEOPLE ARE BEING VERY RUDE EITHER I CAN CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION OR SHOW YOU ANOTHER ROOM".....We explained we don't live in Merriville that's the reason for renting a room, so he gives us another key to another room so we go back to the other room & a ROACH meets us at the door...there was no way we were staying in this dump!!!! All of the other hotels were all booked because it was a concert across the street(the purpose of why we were here) so we ended up being over 2 hrs late to the concert & had to change in another hotels bathroom in the lobby... disgusted is an understatement...I will be contacting the health Dept.

I WISH I COULD POST THE PICS THAT I HAVE LIKE OTHER SITES BECAUSE I DEFINITELY WOULD!!!
